It's incredible how you recreate the sounds of the '80s. A 35-second clip and I could already hear the music of bands like The Human League. Short but beautiful.

Thank you very much. Sometimes I don't really know how a particular sound comes togetherit's probably just luck. With time, I doubt I'd be able to do a remake of some of my 'historical' tracks.

Pulled back minimalism resulting in maximalist atmosphere.
Personally I would have enjoyed some percussion maybe?
Like a shaker or the occasional congas?

PossiblyI lack experience with percussion instruments and I'm still learning how to fit them into the mix. The effects are... quite unpredictable :)

Thanks for the good word :) I guess the atmosphere is mostly created by the instrumentschiefly from U-hewhich nicely recreate an 'analog' sound :)

Hi, that's clear and beautiful... like good architecture. Since I'm from Duesseldorf, the sound resonates with everything I've experienced here (including my acquaintance with Wolfgang Fluer). You really know your craft... hats off to you!

Hi Glenn, thanks! Yeah, I knowthe track should be longer, but I'm still learning. Besides mastering the technical aspects, I still need to develop my "compositional" skills :)

Right now, AI is all the rage, but it will never replace a real musician. It's too perfect, and that's tiring, besides the fact that it has no merit. For example, in the third song I created, I used it to adapt the lyrics I had in mind into English (I don't speak English, and I'm embarrassed about it) and to create the vocals so I wouldn't have to use someone else's lyrics and voice, although I would have loved for someone from this community with incredible voices to sing it (I was too embarrassed to ask). I think that just as the invention of the camera didn't kill off painters, despite its image perfection, it's now just a matter of time before people demand originality and the work of a real creator, a true musician, and not a program that makes songs in a minute.

Your music takes me back to the '80s. And the sound quality is fantastic. You should definitely release full tracks, and who knows, maybe someone here could collaborate with you on some lyricsthat would be amazing! I'd love to hear the result.

Thanks, Juan, for the kind words. I feel like it's already too late, though. AI takes no prisoners :) In time, it will produce every genre of music, and we won't even be able to distinguish it from human-made compositionsif that's even possible today... Over time, there will be fewer and fewer of ushomegrown musicians. We'll just be creating 'for the drawer'for ourselves.

Hi, I have to agree with Juankar, first thing I thought was Depeche Mode! This is a great little melody you've got here. I really hope this is something you're gonna expand on? As it's a great foundation for an awesome track.

It's a pleasure to read that! For now, I'm still learning how to 'glue' tracks together and mix songs in a DAW. Once I get a handle on the technicalities, it will be easier for me to finish the tracks I've started. Im personally still stuck in the 80s and 90s, back when music actually had a melody! :)
