I agree that the ending is a bit of a departure from the rest of the track and, admittedly, hasn't received the attention of the other sections. However, I was worried about the amount of time needed to gently resolve the song. The track is five minutes long and for a lot of listeners it starts to be taxing. That being said, it's likely I will occasionally revisit this track to add polish. Another minute wouldn't be too bad. I'm unsure about what you meant by your last sentence, but I find repetition frustrating and I have received criticism on other tracks for quickly shifting ideas. I don't hear many songs that do it and I like the uniquity. As far as 808s and heavy drums go (I avoided 808s on this track because I wanted my bass playing to stand out), you might like my other track 'From Away'. It's an EDM song made in similar form to this one. I greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
