Had to come here and listen once more - really pleasent atmospheric soundscape with the guitars.
You really created a fantastic song! Very professional sounding overall.
Great beat also, and the vocals really fit in here (unlike from in my version...).

Fantastic!

Hi DjoeGio,
This song is very well done. I like how you integrated the voices of Patricia and Janis: the refrain from Janis is so simple and yet so beautiful.
And the spoken words of Patricia are a bit "naive" but maybe just for this so touching.
Just one remark: I am not so convinced by the end of the song, nothing wrong with fading out, but given the outstanding level of all the rest of the song I was expecting something more. But maybe this is one of the "musts" in the dance genre (which I have to admit I don't know at all)
Good work.
Ciao, Domenico

Thanks for your comment! I thought long and hard about the fade out. I had a song that was 3 minutes long and ok. But than I tried different kinds of fade-outs and I liked this one because you can here the refrain without the voice of Janis. It kind of invites you to sing along. I hoped. But you're right, this is really the style they use in dancematerial.

Thanks Janis. Your voice fitted this little track like a glove. I hope we can do something together in the future!

Hello ....

You have been able to "play" with the voices of a good way .... even though the voice of Patricia is a bit in the "cotton" and not clear enough (at least on my system) ....
Aside from that, I like your concept, and the idea of bringing together these two "divas" is original and well thought ....

Thanks Dan. I spent a lot of time getting the voices good. I had to cut up both tracks to make them fit. About the 'cotton effect', I don't hear this. Maybe the compression (under 10 mb) required on Looperman is too much? There is a 11 MB version on SoundCloud. I have tested the track on 3 different soundsystems and it came out okay. Thanks for the comments!

I had to check out all of your tracks posted here after I listened to this one. Then I had to check on your profile and of course, find out that you already are a professional musician.
So you don't really need to hear that I'm deeply impressed by your musical talent I guess. But I'll say it anyway!

I'm IMPRESSED!
Loved it all.

Great usage of the vocals in this one.

You are very kind. Thanks for the review. I'm not a professional musician though. I have a job as a journalist, I try to squeeze as much time as I can into making music and collaborating with other (jazz)musicians on dance-orientated tracks. DjoeGio

This is a very interesting idea mixture. Dig the nu jazz spacey feel. Very chill vibe, an the layering is great, pulls the listener in. The use of vocals is different but works I'd say. Gives the moment a more zoned in of being zoned out feel. Not bad at all, dig this work from you. Keep em coming. Thanks for the share. Peace.

making it a fav.
Very good work: balanced mix and nice atmosphere.
I agree with Ed: big city night music. I would use it as background music to drive across Paris around 2 am :-)

Very good tune, though I feel it's much more a progressive house tune than a deep house tune. I like the way it builds throughout. Ultimately I hate the whole genre label thing especially when you come up with something different and pleasant.

Hi mate, what an excellent track. Definately a prog house track, but theres no genre for that yet. You have done well to bring all the different parts together and the over all sound is very well produced!! Congrats to you.

Excellent ....

You have a very special design musical and personal, which I appreciate. No stérotype when listening. Always specific concepts, and details pushed to the extreme (at least that's what how I feel) .... Good luck with this project.

wonderful piece of musical art DjoeGio...outstanding musical accompaniment really does wonders for the pictures and is aomething that has always caught my attention...in fact my wife & I went to see "Blue Nile" at the IMax theatre twice just so we could listen to the great soundtrack in 5.1 stereo...this one would certainly catch my attention....well done...much enjoyed...and the best of luck with the project....Ed
