Wonderful track.
This synth-bass is simply too good: with such groovy synth bass lines who is going to need real bass players anymore?
Me Sad :-)
As already pointed out by MrMatt: the solo is really "perfect". Professional guitar sound, this solo is the "icing on the cake" on an already very good song.
It would be interesting to hear somebody adding a vocal part to this.
Kudos to you and My03: you are a "dream team"!
Ciao, Domenico

Mrwolf14 There is always a need for a good bass player. Thank you for the positive feed back on my guitar work and the song.

My03 really out did himself on this one. He is such a talented musician. This is no offence to anyone here.

Talk care and I hope all is well with you and your family.

At first I thought to myself, "This is a really nice retro sounding track." After that guitar, I have to say wow. Spectacular progressions. The mix is also fantastic. You and your colleague should collaborate live if you don't already. This is a thumbs up track. Keep up the professional work. Matt

I listened to the whole song so needless to say it's a captivating one. There were some minor flaws with slight out of key & vocal low points but overall I enjoyed the seamless flow of different kind of sounds & like the overall style of the track. well done

wow. first time I can hear you making a dance track. the intro is interesting sounding and very chilled, I will stay longer with this. Vocals are good and powerful but I can't hear the keys as much as I want. Anyway it is a really good track. You can always consider working in reverse removing some elements to create dynamic throughout. It's a bit too short for the dance track and definitely needs some break or bridge or something like that. I am not very knowledgeable when comes to dance music but definitely this one needs some adjustemts if you're going for a pefectly finished production. Other than - really nice work! Alex

midiman007 replied 14th Apr 2015 - 10 years ago
Alex Thanks for you comments yes it was little short I agree. but this is the radio version not the dance hall one which would have been a lot longer. Thanks for your feed back and your comments are noted.

Thanks Skinnyboyslim. We really do appreciate the positive feedback. and thanks for the favorite on the song.
It was a great track to work on together.

Being a musician and playing with several people, some times you just get together with people that your skills compliment each other. That is what happens when My03 and I get together.

James, this one certainly is magic. Great keyboard work, and the vocals are really nice as well. Superb groove happening here, with an outstanding bass line.

The mix is nice - great balance and width.

Outstanding job to all involved. I hope all is well.

I really like the tune crazy good mix, her voice is in the right place
and feels good there...
The last ( Down ) "back vocal phrase" at the top of the tune, is way behind
the beat but I see you made some chops, in different places on the back end of the tune...
If it were me I would put them on the Down Beat of the Bass drum, stay in time with the drums can't go wrong... :)

Real good start thought, almost radio ready and I like how things were recorded top shelf...

Peace...TG.

hi. so nice! I really liked cool funky vibes on this one. too bad your the recording is so compressed/limited. somehow I want to hear a very raw take on this. It's a 'radio product' so far, or?. It really scares crap out of me, sorry to say.

Great vocals and arrangement. Definitely I can appreciate a very stylish production here. Keep at it! A.
midiman007
midiman007 replied 8th Feb 2015 - 10 years ago
Thanks for listing and commenting.

I limited it more than compressed it. From my previous comments on other tracks it seems like most people listen to these tunes on cheap headphone so this mix would be better for that purpose.

Thanks for the positive feed back. I might try and do another mix with out the full limiting for those who request it.

This is very nice!

Vocals are awesome, a lot of character in the voice, and that is 99 percent of what I look for in a vocalist. Really special quality to the voice.

The music is very well done and the ending is a nice progression. The only issue I had was with the tone of the distorted guitar. Seemed detached from the rest of the music, like recorded in a different room.

Overall, awesome. I am impressed and will be following your stuff!

Thanks Evisma,

For stopping by and commenting on my track. I am afraid I do not hear what you are talking about with the guitar. The sound to me sounds good. Maybe I need to get my ears checked.
That comes with to much loud music.

Solid piece of work, instrumentation all in cool places feels real, Vocal
is on the Mark could use a few more solo's, so you don't say some lines
to many times, exactly the same way...But other then that...
Real good start to a cool project...

Peace...TG.

Soundhound,

Thanks for you nice compliments. I was going to add a few more killer riffs ( lead Guitar ) but then I thought that might sound repetitive. So I just left it the was it was.
I appreciate your compliments coming from a fellow guitar player. Thanks for checking it out and commenting.

Peace MM
