Hello Entrikill, not to familiar with this genre, but from what im listening to its definitely the Phonk sound by definition and style....it has a special place and following I see and will have to listen to more.....keep up the recording so I can learn as well.

I'm a sucker for drift phonk. I wouldn't mind some more bass on my speakers so I can slide sideways into a mailbox with spit flying out my face as i chew on a burning cigarette at 80mph popping through a cloud of tire smoke. It's a very specific song :)

Hello Entrikill, percussions on overload, the bass is quite steady and pretty much straight up.....whereas the percussions are slamming but right in step with the bass....its a good mixture.

Love it - the beat is addictive
