I think Im Going to share my version of this one next, a shortened version anyway, since the Other Monzder Squadd stuff isnt quite ready. Rabber did tell me there was several versions of this one. I like this one too, the other is just the one that hit me with that inspiration

BTW, id honestly consider this one Dark Trap, or Dark Emotional Trap, at the very least, compared to what Ive heard elsewhere. Not that important, really, but might help classify it a bit better for uploading on other sites, if that happens

This piece continues youre progression into visual audio territory, and it truly suits you well. Its fine to be able to work in multiple genres and all that, but a producer's music really gets elevated when they develop a definitive and preferential style. Thats when art truly takes shape. Hey F2F hows it goin bro I think the way my brother describes alot your songs is spot on very cinematic story to tell and usually a beginning, middle and end. There are alot of clues and set dressing sprinkled throughout as well. To a vocalist like me its a very productive and inviting wsy to make music a lot of times I don't know what I'm going to write a song about until I sit down and listen to the song itself and decide what Clues I hear in the music itself and that's what i write about, most of the time. Anyway lol sorry for the textbook. Hopefully u and Pwze collab on his Cinematic project or watever and u definitely MUST contribute to the new Monzder Squadd album thats being worked on thatd be awesome

Hey man, this is really good. I love the percussion. There's plenty of it, and it fits perfectly without getting sloppy. The stereo separation on your hats, snare percs, and 808 hits are spaced out perfectly. The hats are nice and wide, the snares are sitting perfectly just outside of the 808, but inside the hats. Excellent use of space there.
I don't know if it's your mix, or my earbuds, so take it how you'd like...but the 808 sounds just a touch too loud. By like...maybe 1 or 2 db. Either way. It's still a great track, and like I said, it may just be my earbuds.

Thanks bro, normally I set the 808 (with saturation/distortion and clipper) between -3db or -6db, depending on the type of song. In this one, I left it at -3db, and then on the mix bus/master, I finish adjusting everything together by ear, maintaining a suitable tonal balance with the visual help of Tonal Balance Control 2. In this song, I wanted the low end to have a lot of presence, but it's possible I went a bit overboard, lol, especially with the punch. I actually used three different 808s, and each one has a micro EQ done with the help of the Bassroom tool, and then on the mix bus, I put a little of the Eventide DeBoom to give the low-end more separation and shape. But as I already said, besides these tools, I also like to finish giving the final touch with my ears, and they are not exactly the ears of Jaycen Joshua, lol.
