I have no idea how it is that I have not come across this gem of a tune before, but I'm thrilled to have now. This song has a classic sensibility. It is a throwback to the Argo-Chess Records Days. Lyrically, it needs a little tweaking and extending, but the arrangement is near perfection. Well done, you!

Woo! now this is real FUNK! if ever i heard it, listening to this made come over all unnecessary lol and getting into the real groove of this just puts one on a high. The real deal when it comes to earthy authentic funky fresh music, this is a collab that certainly shines bright, GREAT! work guys. Nice one.

I'm just gonna say it because it has to be said. Far too often there are "funk" offerings here that really do not cut the mustard. This track, my friends, is the exception. You guys obviously know what funk is as well as how to elevate it. What captures me most about this track is that there are surprise gems throughout the listening journey--like the flute, horns and xylophone. The cool vocals are not more than they need to be, but rather, just enough. This ain't just funk, it's funk-jazz, and it's kicking ass!

Joe hit the nail on its proverbial head, what a terrific funky tune. This is a lost art, and it's nice to see that three terrific talented people could lay down such a great groove (the vibes are just so damn good). Man, my hat is off to you guys. Wow... My first thought was where have you been. Then I saw you've been here since 2012 soooo, It's where have I been. You were here all the time lol. Your composing and arranging is off the charts in my opinion.
