Reply to all, particularly Soluna: Thanks so much! I respect all of your music, everyone, and your comments are so affirming! Yes, it is one of my many Native American style (wooden) flutes and this live track came out in one take, with a lot of edits afterwards of course. Couldn't have done it without Soluna leaving space for another tenor voice to chime in, so it really is a collaborative effort. Such fun, and you're a great bunch of folks!

A few words: Thanks for sharing these magic moments .....

Excellent mixing .... and a "marriage" instrumental well thought.

Thank you, davepowell1. The Native Flute is designed to be peaceful and healing, and the track fit perfectly.

Thank you for your version! Of course no virtual flute may have the same effect like a native one. It sounds lovely to me. Please feel free to play with my tracks (and maybe soon with my loops)...

Greetings ...

You're welcome. I hope my English translation of the title in German comes close to the meaning. There's a little swing in the beat of this track that I haven't quite captured, so I may tinker with my part a bit more. Thanks for responding!

Thank you, bil0700. Just back from a flute school/festival, and I'm really pumped. Guitar and piano. . . love those acoustic sounds. Note my reply to Bear's comments on The Long Walk track for ideas about creating duets for the Native Flute.

Glad you liked my piece.

Absolutely beautiful. I have always loved the haunting sound of the Native American flutes and this piece shows why. You are highly skilled and it shows in this piece.

Thanks for the download as well. It will be a great addition to my IPod.

Fantastic work.

You're welcome! I appreciate your positive comments. I did modify the mp3 slightly and uploaded the edit so if you haven't gotten the most recent version you may want the new one, which is a little less dissonant toward the end.

Again, thanks for the track. (Hint, hint: the intervals on the 12-tone "circle of fifths" for a Native Style flute are 32232.)

What a nice surprise..I had no idea you might add your flute talents on this one..and from the way you developed the melody, the flute vibrato and those longer notes I can tell you have been doing this a while....beautifully done UChris...I am always honoured when a fellow musician uses something I have done and this one is a particular treat....Thank you.....Ed

Thank you so much for your specific comments, Tumbleweed. They help the process of development. I listened to your wonderful guitar music--beautifully played and rendered. I'm glad I found the track that went well with what I do. "Fellow musician" is a high compliment for this amateur!

Thanks, heavenandearth360. It's a little known secret that the Native Style Flute has a hidden chakra--made especially for the blues!

I like this track.
The warm sound of the flute is great.
What a difference to a synthie sound.
The backing track is great too.

Thanks, Patricia. I love constructive criticism. High-pitched flutes tend to blow out the high frequencies so I do edge off on gain overall. Still learning how to record. . .

Thanks, TransAtlantic. I'm working on melody as well as rhythm. Si, el condor pasa en Jamaica--those birds do have range!
