on Resting in Grace by ConsciousEntitySound

This soundtrack might be awesome for a guided meditation. Ever considered recording vocals on this?

ConsciousEntitySound replied 4th Apr 2022 - 4 years ago

Thanks, I have not considered doing that. Would rather leave it wide open for interpretation.

This is very peaceful and like nothing I have heard here on LM before. WOWW!! what a most ethereal and graceful piece of musical ingenuity!...I actually closed my eyes & took this all in digesting every note & I have to say the listening experience was something to behold...Calm, light, majestic & captivating, I'm truly speechless and bold-over by this piece of heavenly sound. wow, Thank you for showing up here on LM. I think everyone needs to hear this, the way the world is going people are stressed to the eyeballs, but there are ways to calm and feel connected to a much higher power which is something i do/feel on a daily, we all need to learn to raise the frequency around us and find a place of calm and peace no matter what's going on around us & your music did that all at once.

This is otherworldly indeed...I think you can tell just how much I Love this track :) Anyways Thank for this BRAVO!!!! FAVED!

ALL ***************STARS*****************AMAZING!!!

Mighty fine compliment indeed. Thank you for taking the time to communicate all of that, it's exactly how I intended this track to be received. Makes me wish I could dedicate all of my time solely to making albums of this nature, but I have a business to run and a family to provide for. If I can secure the funding one day though, I will do that...if I have enough time left on this earth to do so.

WOWW!! this is SUPER DOPE! loving the flow of this, those lyrics are righteous! the beat is on some next level, sick as anything, everything meshes well. One of the most powerful! rap tracks I have heard here, for real...SALUTE! keep killing it! :)

ConsciousEntitySound replied 8th Oct 2019 - 7 years ago

on ILP - Gotta Try by ConsciousEntitySound

A solid and nice track indeed. Loved it. All is prety well balanced. The elements were good. The mixing has been done nicely. The vocals were clear. So yeah a job well done. Keep up the good work. Btw i believe this track does belong more to the rap section though. But hip hop will do as well.

ConsciousEntitySound replied 13th Aug 2018 - 8 years ago

Thanks for taking the time to listen and give some feedback! Much appreciated. :)

I dig the message! The song itself is very catchy, lots of instrument activity and atmosphere - but seems to bury the vocals at times. I know you didn't mix it so it's not really a critique, more of just something I noticed. :) Your vocals are always solidly recorded so I have to ask, what microphone-interface-software setup do you have to make your recordings?

Cheers,

Brado

Hey man, thanks for the feedback and taking the time to check out the track.

The use of compression on my vocal wasn't applied the best way, agreed. Dude who did the mixing is somewhat newer to the game, so he kind of makes decisions very tenatiovely and reserved when he is mixing. I'm busy with a lot of other stuff going on right now so I didn't really feel overly compelled to get him to go back and play with the mix, plus I knew I would get some excellent remixes which give my vocals proper treatment so I'm cool with it.

Hardware:

-Apex540 Condenser Mic
-Zoom C5.1t USB Audio Interface
-Adobe Audition for tracking
-Custom built isolation box for mic

All my hats off

For me it was one of the most professional song here (and maybe there)...your? voice is extra and the instrumentalism too, specially the drums...

handshake, Danke

ConsciousEntitySound replied 16th Mar 2018 - 8 years ago

Thank you kindly. My dad recorded this in 1994, just acoustic guitar and his singing. I just remixed it and added all the other elements. Thanks for listening!

on ILP - New Babylon by ConsciousEntitySound

Ill track ConsciousEntitySound! That beat is sick and the flows are dope as hell. It's a head nodder for sure. The mix sounds solid too. This one's a Fav. Nice work.

ConsciousEntitySound replied 11th May 2017 - 9 years ago

Hey thanks I really appreciate that. I feel like every project we (ILP) do my flow advances a level. Im'a just keep doin' what I do. It's not really about "making it" to me...it's more about leaving something behind, after I'm gone.

I have no words to express how much dissapointment that this is not the music that is dominating the airwaves internationally instead of this dumbing down music engineered by disconnected businessmen with hidden evil agendas... keep doing this because there is a change coming... much love ILP from STOIC. aka Dave wright .

ConsciousEntitySound replied 27th Dec 2016 - 9 years ago

Mighty fine compliment sir. Thank you very much, very inspiring! Also, worry not - there is no end in sight for ILP..! ;)

This is a hot track. The beat is bangin, then the vocals and the meaning takes it to another level.

Ok this is awesome, had a really laid back feel. Im serious when I say this sounded kinda like Blue Scholars Morning Of America. You have almost the same voice and flow as Blue Scholars. You should check them out if you never heard of em.
The music production is phenomenal as well.
Hell of a track.

ConsciousEntitySound replied 8th Jun 2015 - 11 years ago

Thanks a lot bro, mighty kind and thoughtful comment. I have never heard of Blue Scholars Morning Of America. I am in the midst of quite a few projects right now, but when I find myself with some time I might check it out! :)
