Yes it all sounds a bit "enclosed", but it is a wonderful music and well worth a little more work in the sound, even make a track a bit longer. Beautiful music.

Thanks for the review on this one, but checkout "On My Way" as I think that one is produced a little better.

You must be going for a hiphop/cinematic soundtrack in a movie/game or something, because i feel like rapping on alot of your tracks lol however it does have a nice touch of cinematic presence to it. under the right circumstances and representing the right imagery it could go well in the back ground of some video, whether it be a hip hop video or movie trailer. anyways, this is really nice though leftarmy. the piano and strings flow great, so does the minor choir. i would like to hear that choir a little more though. the mix is very nice, i think it could use a little more reverb though. but thats just me, good job man

strings sounded a little confined lost a little height on their frequency - amazingly enjoyable piece though - the stabbing strings at the end bring the track to a controlled end - well done

Thanks for the review. There is something about the strings that isn't right and I really can't put my finger on what I dislike about them... Time for the headphones to come out I guess. I'll be making some "original" stuff soon anyway, getting tired of the Madagascar theme for some odd reason.

Checkout "On My Way" as that is quite enjoyable in my opinion and it's based on the same tracks.

Yet again, I love the piano. Really catchy. I too love blending orchestral with other styles of music. I think the hip beat gives the track a nice edge.

So far, every track of yours I've heard has really great piano work. Fun stuff to listen to. Just need to get you a cooler drum kit. Though I do love that big percussive hit at the end.

Man! Rich sound! I love it! May I ask, how do you get your tracks so produced sounding? Do you have any tips? My songs are missing that pop like yours has. anywho, you've got talent bro. keep it up!
LeftArmy
LeftArmy replied Unknown
Hey, thanks for your kind words. I'd say it depends on the VST's you use. I also spend a lot of time playing around with the sounds and make sure I don't include sounds that have a low quality. If you use or have heard of FL Studio, that's how I produce my tracks. I use "Soundgoodizer" to make the instruments a little stronger & clearer.

I'm not sure what this track was supposed to represent but its far too simple. and could expanded upon so much. cinematic is not usually a simple genre, and this has potential to be far more. especially with the reverses and pizzicato. but if simplicity was what you were aiming for, than it's okay. nothing wrong with the mix though, good job on that. peace

Hey, thanks for the review. If you listen to most of the other tracks they are a bit more involved than this one, as this was a request it was created to their specific requirements and they required exactly this :).
