Hmm this is more of an 'experimental' instrumental; heavy drums could make it sound more hip-hop. Overall, keep it up

nice sound, would have to agree though it would be better as a cinematic piece. but it doesn't suck no matter the genre. CF

Thanks for the support and good call on the cinema genre! Nice work on all your tracks, I was just checking them out. And I noticed you use an M-Audio keyboard, they're pretty solid keyboards forsure! Thanks again, and keep up the good work!

This is nice! The 4 note strings around the one minute mark seem a little off beat at first, but other than that this is well put together! Now that I think of it, it sounds better off beat for some odd reason

Thanks for the support! And thanks for the feedback I thought that something didn't sound quite right, and I may go back to tweak some stuff and now I know where to focus my attention! I love your tracks, you've got good versatility! And props on the shout outs to J Dilla, he'll allways be a legend!

this should be under cinema....not hip hop...as a hip hop beat, this sucks!

Did You create those drums yourself??
Scholar
Scholar replied Unknown
Hey, yeah I created the drums using BeatCraft. It's a good drum program that provides stock sounds and allows you to drop in your own samples. It's similar to the Drum Program that comes with FL Studio.

This track needs more action in the drum parts. Where are you goong with it were is the differentiation between verse and hook it doesnt have to be drastic but is expected eventually where is the change up.Its the same damn thing the whole way through.Originality and creativity bro add some spice and flava.

Nice use of loops! I recognize those ^^ I love the dark feel you gave it with the low strings. The brass that enters is a bit random, but still I like where this is going. Nice job!

Thanks for the comments, and I see you use Mixcraft. For its price it's a pretty solid program. And thanks for the feedback on the loops, the advice will be a big help later on when I try a few more things. Nice work on your tracks!
