When the mix is good like this, I can only say that I like this track. It is your creation. My honest opinion though is that this beat is killer. I especially like how heavy the part for the hook is. The tranced out background noise brings it all together. Youre doing it right. Keep on.

Realy really good - love your vocal work here, sounds really professional and yes - cute son.

Not sure about the mastering - it adds to the retro feel but maybe needs some more work?

As for the mastering, I suck at mastering. LOL. No doubt that it needs work. I am still learning how to mix. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some help with it. LOL

I definitely think the lyrics could work over this instrumental. However just placing this acapella into the tracks doesnt quite work. All you would need to do is actually record to this instrumental, and make sure the vocal levels were even, and Eq'd well. Keep it pushin though.

I thought it is interesting. Some parts fit real close for it belonging to a different vibe. Maybe if you added some catchy layering on the vocals at those uneasy spots in this idea might sound smoother. Still, some new vox wouldn't be a bad idea when you're able to. instrumental is cool. I like the melody but the vocals could use some work. The beat would be nice but they need stronger samples. I can definitely hear this on the radio and possibly a video but it needs more. I would suggest you guys work on it some more and fine tune it. Hit potential!

wow, not a bad cover at all!!! if you had some decent equipment, this would sound really good. you have some real vocal talent. the kids on the hook is hilarious! i say invest in some new mics, and this would sound great.

Omigosh those harmonies are SO awesome! I LOVE YOUR VOICE! Ok, I've said that already...hmmm...LOL

HTTR's got some pretty good beats. I'd just say bring the muzic up a bit and that'll bring my vote up to 10-1/2!
