This beat sounds cool.
When I started making beats myself, my sounds and rhythms went in all directions. My son kept telling me...mom, a rapper needs a bit of an even tone.
Stubborn as I was, I thought...pffff a good rapper can also rap on my beats and otherwise he's not good enough lol.
Now that I have been trying to sing to my own beats for a little year now, I understand what he meant.
To make a long story short.
You have created the perfect rap, hip-hop beat that sounds good and is easy to rap to
Right off the bat, gotta say that kick is fire man, really all the drum & perc elements were great, honestly similar to choices I would make were I creating this beat. nice build up of tension at the beginning, works really well - if the track were longer, id even consider doing another build up part way thru, it works that well. I feel some late noughties influence in it, but also some new wave as well. Everything blends well, and Mixing is solid. Really Well done track, man.
Definitely has promise! The "I got it" samples is a good one.
Maybe try to add a Looperman acapella to it to see what works and where it might need a bit of work?
Hey Phil, Patricia is one of the best vocalist on the loop. Instrumental sounds great but the vocals seem to be out of tune with the rest of the piece?
overall makes tracks seem to be listening to from this end a little muddy sounding, could be my old ears playing tricks on me but does sound like something is not meshing correctly in the piece (vocal key), did enjoy the listen though. Peace n Respect mosaic
Hello, the sound and the beat are good. The bass in particular is very amazing. However, the whole song is caught in a loop. There is simply a lack of voice and maybe an additional instrument to create more variety.
Gotta tell you that I'm really diggin' the Groove & Vibe of your track, I can easily imagine some nice rap vocals and melodic arrangement with this. Great job and fav,
Nice jersey drum beat I like it. The vocal goes well with it. I think you should have probably put the brake a little earlier but that's my opinion maybe two breaks but good work it hits really well
