I'll take that and run anyday of the week bro... and cheers heaps for the response, and for mentioning Tupac! It's been a long while since I put any of his stuff on... peace!
Haha great description.
And i definately know what you mean by dipping your toes into multi-genres. That's a personal habit of mine as well. Which is why i can respect this track.
Lots of interesting things going on. Nice soft drums which switch up and compliment the synth nicely. Then the track almost stops and it's like...that was good.
Then it kicks in.
First i was like, :) then i was like :D.
Haha great job with this one man, very unique. Lots of good sounds going in. keep em' coming. -Gabe
hell yes bro... a kindred spirit i always wonder if more structured minds can hear anything but chaos... I actively seek chaos cuz amongst it there is no rules and u may even find a piece thats operating unphased by whats going on around it... I mean this in music and snapshots of normal day to day living... that i guess is what aligns my creative process with a foundation that a concept can work from... and yeah that big drawn out pause was abou the actual time it took for me to go from am i done? to i know lets get drum n bass with dubstep overlays and get straight to the
point which was i never had a point to start with... So ill shut my trap and Gabe i'll be checking out the result of toes being dipped into what they want peace my man Robb
ok i like the glitchy start thats cool and the slow drum intro then the main fast beat comes in and it sounds low withing the track they need to be more harsh and punchy as the bass patterns seem to overpower it some what. maybe you have a bit to much compression or limitation on the drum loops but i like it not a great deal but a good effort on your behalf keep them coming.......drum and bass forever
Hey bro cheers for the feedback! Thats why Im posting stuff here, not to get it out there but to get opinions on whats working and whats not.... Ive only been at it for 6 months and Im like a sponge so ill keep at it and repost it with your feedback in mind
I noticed you used Mixcraft even before I saw your software info cuz I used to use it for a while. I notice alot of these samples ;) good times... good work!
U get to know them back to front dont ya! I started with Mixcraft which is perfect to start with so these are my first tracks getting use to it ive moved onto Reason now and the fun has really begun..
Ok, so I NEVER listen to house really, but I make a point of listening to featured tracks and WOAH this was cool. I'd totally get down in a club to this track. Love the crazy synth work, but my favorite part is the sample work. Crazy fun, First House track I've ever considered relistening to just for fun. Fav'd for sure!
iam not an expert ive made my first dub step track put on here today.its all about the drums and wobbles and fx normally dubstep tends to be 140 and the drums are one kick one snare and some sharp hi hats or something similar. listen to other peoples and get an idea. this sounds more jungle to me tho mate nice mash up tho still..
This is the most random song I have ever heard. Each part of the song is really cool and works together. With as many transistions as you had in this song, its cool and they still flow very well together. Oh and last thing the intro to it was my favorite for sure.
