on DNA from Mars by Sakura
Hello ....

A very clever mix .... but title strange, which requests, probably some explanation.
Some synchronization problems with the drums at the end.

Thank You. I explained the title in the other reply, "DNA" is just a play off of a music project name "DN. Revolution", the evolution of our sound. Thanks, I'll eventually get around to fixing any issues with the tracks. i have more stuff coming, so your feedback will continue to be a big help.

on DNA from Mars by Sakura
Like this, but curious...why did you call it DNA from Mars?

It's originally called,"DNA" which is a play off of the name of my music project "DN.Revolution", like the evolution of our sound. The Mars part...only because the song wouldn't upload with just 3 characters.

Great guitar driven piece here. The drums could come up a bit. I'm not hearing a bassline at all.

Enjoyed the track and hope to see you posting more on the loop soon :-)

Well done piece, and I agree about raising the volume of the second guitar

Great track!
I'm a fan of Scriptique's work and I really like what you did on your other tracks.Ther's definitely some mystery and melancholy about your voice.
I got a track called "Jukebox Music Listening",maybe you could be interested in singing it?
Cheers

Wow Sakura! =) I just found this track. I'm so glad you made something excellent with the loops. Perfect vox, perfect atmospherics, and the drops are well placed. A definite fave!

hey sakura, i like this, if i were you i`d get some vocals on it but most importantly get someone to remix and master it, the song starts out with that dirty distortion guitar and that`s really cool but at :16 that clean guitar comes in and it feels like a different song the levels were totally different. I didn`t feel like that transitioned well for that fact. Also the drums are severely muffled when the distortion guitar is playing but super clear when the clean guitar comes in seems to me the distortion guitar takes up too much space. Did you double that track with a bit of reverb and that`s why it squashes everything else? and the ending is very abrupt. Other than those few little points i do like the tune itself and do believe with a little work it could be a hit.

this track has a very well achieved heavy sound...it's not easy for me to get a nice warm and full sound and yet keep a clear image when working with heavily distorted guitars and bass like these ones...great riff too, congratutalions

i like this...i like it indeed...it's got a solid, melodic base with those crunchy guitar chords and steady drums; it think it's an interesting start point...now, minor flaws i found : the mix is very good for the first 2 minutes or so (except maybe a bit too dry drum set), but then it got a bit muddy, and it's a bit too repetitive...but as i said before, i really like the foundation, i'm sure you'll come up with some interesting turning points for this song, nice work

Hi Sakura..my first visit to your place....Well this is great!..a super chuggin hard hitting take no prisoners track....the guitar and bass have just the right amount of distortion to give out the heavy vibe but still retain good articulation and separation...excellent work...cheers planet

Damn, you rock star you! I like this, the riff is smooth but still edgy... reminds me a little of POD. By itself it's a little repetitive, but I imagine that this wouldn't be the case once the vox is added in.

Awesome track if you ask me!

This is the demo? Man, then the finished product must be epic then! The bass is really driving, and the guitar is just awesome. The drops are well placed. And the rhythm is just the right tempo to headbang to high heavens.

Btw, who's that in your profile pic? She looks so awesome *__*

Wow, what a rockin' track... When I heard I was seeing viking's raping and pillaging a village in a crappy 80's movie!
Nice rock bass chunking away too. Maybe a lead guitar line would lift it a little, but otherwise a great, fun, ass rockin track. Well done.

did you play the instruments?? any way it sounded great...the only thing would be to add a little more volume to the second guitar part since it was kind of lower but dont get me wrong it sounded very good:)

I dig the sound you have. it's great to hear live instruments playing, nice guitar work and sounds, are you planning to add lyrics? I know it's a demo version, but it sounds bloody great to me. Let me know when you have more tracks, cheers Slap...
