Hey Michel, I noticed that you mentioned that these are "only drafts for possible production". I totally get what you are doing, feeling out ideas and trying to get something going with a singer(s). I do like how your music and her vocals work together, she seems like a good fit. Some cool guitar parts, pretty dramatic song with a big time feel.
I had a look at your profile and recognized you live in Spain. So I thought why not say hola. I love the fact that this site brings together musicians from all around the planet ...

Micky
Hola, well done. It's a cracker Christina Aguilera would have loved to be offered to. Classic and striking! And what a fine guitar player you are!

Micky
Well done man! Her vocals sound much clearer and more upfront in this track, sounds great, she has some pipes! I'm hear some lead fills on the left in my head, git a bit louder and keys too, turn 'em up, lets hear the goodness!
Awesome vocals as always. Man she can sing.
Having said that (and I think I could probably listen to her reading out a shopping list with that voice and still be mesmerised), I think she is good enough to make an even cleaner take, eg 2.46 "every" isn't as clean as it could be.
It sounds like a first draft, and I think I've heard better of you both; still, your first draft is better than my final version, and it's a solid track. The music is there (and the lyrics too) and that's what counts.
Hey Michel, I think it's perfect. You did just enough to let her lead it. Really impressive how it all fits like a glove – welllllll done!
Regards,
Micky
Another fine pop rock song man! Singing is once agin solid and the music sets a fine bed on which to lay them on. There's a weird click at about :43 that stood out to me, maybe on the vox track or a snare hit gone rogue. ;)
exact there is a vocal hitch (like on armagueddon, but I was able to delete it on this one, I deleted the word) on this one I could not have cut the sentence! I am thinking of a trigger for Lauren's vocal compressor, but I have the voice like that and I have to deal with it !!
thanks for all wayne !
Michel
She is so awesome man. What a voice. The Armagueddon track was a bit less to my liking but this one again is an instant hit. Top notch, thanks for posting these here!
hey Michel! this is the one that really connects for me. the lyrics and perfs are convincing and vivid. this is clearly pitched at a commercial crossover audience but to me retains an indie ethos/edge that sets it apart from the mor crowd. bravos to you and Lauren!
the talent is Lauren, I only put a certain style of music on her voice which is well in relation to her tone of voice and her feeling !!!
thanks for everything bro!
Michel
All your tracks are SO pleasant to listen to man. BTW love the avatar, I see a Fender (or copy), an Ibanez... and is that a Warwick bass?
BTW I am so freaking jealous of your singer... her voice is so awesome, but then again, you are a really good musician and songsmith too, so I guess that makes sense :)
hi baobu !! no no it's a real American strato from 1975 with a passive humbucker "di marzio" at the bridge, an "ibanez" RG 08 ltd and an American bass "Transfer" with "house" pickups (made by a friend in France) that happiness !!
tanks for all bro !!
