I really liked the acapella when I came across it. And since I already was thinking about ways to honor Richard and his contributions around the community, I decided to do this piece. I'm not the biggest fan of working with acapellas, one big reason being that if Richard had written his vocals to my beat, it'd be far better. But it works just well enough for me to want to do a proper collaboration

There are 4 spots where the vocals are out of tune, but thats bcuz Richard's vocals were an acapella, they were made for a entirely different song. There really isn't much that can be done about that. If Richard had written the vocals specifically for this beat, im sure it would be as perfect as it can be.

Hey Richard. I'm glad you like it man. To be honest with you, the music came to me quickly after listening to the vocals just once. I just procrastinated on finishing it, along with 50 other songs lol. Your vocals are easy to work with, though, its almost like cheating. I could do 5 or 6 songs with your vocals in record time. Anyway, brother, one of my goals for 2026 was to prove that I can and will work with anyone, as long as the goal is to create such pieces as this. I enjoyed my time working on this one. God Bless, man.

Well Kay, in all honesty, the Squadd is good but they're not quite THAT good, although they come pretty close. The vocals in this song come from an old Three Six Mafia song and an old UGK song, stuff we used to listen to growing up. A few of the guys requested that I make a remix of an old song and this what I delivered. But if they've become good enough to be mistaken for artists much more famous, then they'll be proud.

Now, about the rap musical - Literally LOL! It could be a pretty cool thing, honestly, and I'd have fun scoring such a thing. But rounding up all these fools to actually star in it? Not a chance lol. Especially Jared. He'd see a squirrel or something 4 minutes into filming and that'd be it for him. And Justin would already be off in a corner deep into a fascinating conversation with a female crew member. Or 2. Lol. I just know my guys too well. It took me 12 years to get them all to come together to form this group. TWELVE. Let that tidbit sink in for a second. Idk if it says more about me and the virtues of patience, or about them and personal growth and maturity. Maybe both. Thank u kay for being one of our favorite supporters, collaborators, colleagues, and friends.

Hey Manu, thanks for listening! This beat was made back at the beginning of last year, the only thing new is the vocals. 90% of all my new work is with The Monzder Squadd, and thats where i've grown the most. The whole group has, in my opinion. Of course its still pretty dark, but there's a few collabs we've done that are up as well. I recommend listening to 'Trip Trap City', a collab with Kayos2 and Oli/VT Nights, as well as 'Undercover' - and our newest song, 'Rats and Snakes' Featuring Rita. Those are my favorites rite now, but there is also collaborations or contributions with The FrenZ, Cyberflares, Mindway, and 2 others with Rita. It was important to me, and to us, to involve as many of our talented friends here on LM as possible with this second album, and its been a wonderful experience for the whole group. Im really happy with the direction The Monzder Squadd is going in, its very close to how i first envisioned it a long time ago. If i could convince Mndway to do a whole album with us, maybe like 8 songs, i feel like theres a good chance we could blow up, just based on the reaction around here to the song we did a little while back. People love it, myself included. Anyway, regardless of that, i do have some ideas for future projects, one of them being a Loserz Club project that has an LM feature on every song, and either a soundcloud or bandcamp exclusive The Monzder Squadd X The Loserz Club crossover album, with 4 or 5 songs on it and maybe some guest producers, as well. My mind is always running, my friend.

Haha nah, I havent finalized the mix yet on the next one featuring Rita, and more vocals are being recorded for the other one. I did figure Id be done before the end of the weekend, but we fast tracked "Splatterhouse" first. She's really great on both songs tho, as always. I appreciate your comment and your time, man. The vocals from this one come from a song me and some of the guys used to listen to back in the day, and since they asked me to do a throwback, i picked this one, and they loved it.
