Hello Miss ShojoBeast,
First I must ask you, what is a ShojoBeast? Forgive my ignorance. I'm thinking it must be an anime thing?
I wanted to say this is very nice ambient piece. I particularly liked the way you altered Myst's voice and mixed it in. The basic melody loop I have used before in one of my tracks and I liked very much the way you used it here. I am always amazed at how much each person changes things to make their own music. By the way you can always find out who made the loop by taking the first number and going to the loops section and typing in the number. Each person gets their own unique number in Looperman to identify them. I will look for more tracks from the raging ShojoBeast.
Cheers,
-Koble
P.S. You might want to email Myst and let her know what a wonderful piece you made with her voice. I think she would like it.
And hello to you too Koble.
Shojo means love, beast, well you know means beast! I am a big fan of love so the name really suits me.
Thanks for the nice review. Am I the only one that is this lucky one heir fist song?
Thanks again!

This is a deep experience! The bell/malleted sounds at the beginning really work well as a device for immediately taking me somewhere else. Bells and mallets I know really move me to another place for some reason, I don't know if that comes from like the memory of euphoria of wind chimes in the breeze and those sounds taking me back to that ... so I don't know if it always moves a person's point of awareness to a new place as much as it does me, but it does. So from the start, this does one of the coolest things music can do. In fact, i had to pause it to say everything I felt about the first 10 seconds, so I am going to click play again now.
Love the vocal sound, goes so well with the melody of the bells, and then the morph / change to the next sound is interesting, it kind of like the same vocal just got younger. With all the nice fx going on, it is a very ethereal yet solid dream this paints.
Really great rhythms especially in the contrast between everything. For the open ear, this is a smorgasbord of delight. for the casual listener, this is a wonderfully rich flavor to add to any environment. Absolutely.
This has been very wellness-instilling and inspirational. I am going to craft some loops right now cuz you lit a fire in me, so be on the lookout for some loops from me going up this afternoon. You'll know them by the title, somehow.
Thank you. I found that the bells kept the whole song going. Whenever I hear this song I think of a ice palace and an empty throne. Kind of sad. But I hope you think of happier things. Thanks again!

Ahh Shojo nice to meet you....it's always nice to welcome a new Goddess!..a very cool tune indeed..do you have this on quick turnaround at the temple I wonder...a very spiritual and moving vocal journey through the percussive avenues your genes have obviously predicated for you....I was caught off guard when I heard there was a new deity in town...next time I will bring a suitable offering...cheers from one of your many future supplicants..planet
Slick mate! Your melodies and the percussion accompany the haunting vocals perfectly. And you did this all in reaper... thats quite the feat. I know because i used reaper at one point and hated every minute of it. Ill save you some time and tell you right now you are better off switching to reason or cubase or FL.
I'm probably not the best to review this, as I helped a bit with mastering, but I really like this song! I think you've got a good ear for timing, and I love the transitions in this one. I also really love your melodies, and I'm a nut for tuned percussion so this is super fantastic.
For a first track uploaded onto looperman, I'd say you're off to a fantastic start!
