on Raining again by DASteele

Rain is always a great topic. I have an older track about rain too, based on some ancient Japanese poems :)
I liked yours! There's some details you can further refine, but you can also leave it and inspire you to a new track. As long as you have fun with it!

I still have to clean up the new tracks, so that will help it. I plan on jamming over the top of it and see what comes out. My friend was a big Eagles fan and this was the start of me learning guitar, so I'm feeling a bit inspired by those old days. thx for your comment

Very cool you have tracks from so long ago!
I started writing bits and pieces in 2018 but I can't bear to listen to it anymore ;)

Thanks for your comment. My original recordings of these songs are very bad and Mean really bad. I can't listen to them anymore. That's why I decided to do what I can with them. Nothing to lose.

on No sense by DASteele

Writing songs is often a struggle and what you did is often a good strategy - park it a bit and come back to it later (even 35 years). Love makes no sense to me... We can only agree! Good job!

Thanks for your comment. Coming back to these songs 35 yrs later has been great. I don't have the baggage I once carried around with me that inspired me to write them and I feel like I'm giving them [songs] and myself that final closure for that moment in time. In return it has given me a great new memory in comparison to the old one's, which has been the up tick for me.

Thanks for your comment. Much appreciated. I had a peek at your profile. looks like we have a common influence in prince and being a multi-instrumentalist and 80's music.
