I still have to clean up the new tracks, so that will help it. I plan on jamming over the top of it and see what comes out. My friend was a big Eagles fan and this was the start of me learning guitar, so I'm feeling a bit inspired by those old days. thx for your comment

Mmm, not sure if my skill level is up to a pantera type solo. I'll have to do some serious noodling around and see what comes out.
I'm considering 3 different guitar sounds for the main guitar. This is the cleanest/tightest of the heavy sounds. The original recording was a low brow, unclean and dirty. Still my fav. I was trying to reproduce, but got these other sounds instead

Thanks for your comment. My original recordings of these songs are very bad and Mean really bad. I can't listen to them anymore. That's why I decided to do what I can with them. Nothing to lose.

Thanks for your comment. Coming back to these songs 35 yrs later has been great. I don't have the baggage I once carried around with me that inspired me to write them and I feel like I'm giving them [songs] and myself that final closure for that moment in time. In return it has given me a great new memory in comparison to the old one's, which has been the up tick for me.
