Yo that 3rd pattern within the beat go hard!! I like that change up. That pattern by itself with the beat you laid is dope, I could ride off that alone.

Sure you can put some hip hop vocal on it, but it works pretty well like this and to my hears it's not strickly Hip hop.
Why don't you try to add some analog sounds to it ? may be old analog synth chords pads sometimes ? that's just an idea. Anyway it's a cool track mate
