Hello BadNode, I just gave your track a listen and found it to be pretty imaginative and high on the cool level, its a refreshing walk down the avenue with nothing but good thoughts. The percussions are great....with some fine keys and either synths or strings....its a very good track.
I liked what you have done with this song. It is this guitar hit that guides to some funk elements sampling, it would be great.
Well done.
My regards, Anthony.
I always try to be honest when commenting, so I find your song Very good, but to achieving that sound level would be the most difficult, and commenting without being a musician is even more difficult ) . To me need more work on drums actually on snare and still on chorus not enough power in vocal . Looks like you afraid sing to loud but I believe what we need here ,together with female vocal and and from the top of lungs could take down the roof that piece . Updated version is no doubt way better but but I wish you not to give up. Best wishes
great rock track BadNode not my speciality so can't give real feedback but i like the track its got a great 90's vibe too it feels very authentic of that time, well done, a female vocal would add sparkle but it's got a load of potential to be bigger and louder, really good listen bro
Thanks for stopping by Dime! I appreciate you lending your ears! I've got a "bigger" version cooking as we speak, and I'll definitely upload with the changes the community's suggested here! Sadly no female vox but my buddy did lend his so it's feeling a whole lot fuller and even more 90's! Keep on rocking!
Not sure how I missed this one. And I'm appreciating the vibes that the community has had lately. You're absolutely right, this reminds me strongly of stuff that was in heavy rotation in the 90s. And that's a good thing, those were the years! I hope u find the vocals you're looking for, id like to hear the result. Good work on this, man.
Hey Pnnywze! Thanks for stopping by and giving it a listen! I appreciate the feedback and vote of confidence you have in this! 90's era college radio had some of my favorite music, so I'm glad you felt that! I hope I can finish this, and I'll definitely repost that version when it's done!
Not sure how to direct message on this site but if you message me first I'll send you the instagram of someone who might have the vocals you're looking for. Rather not post her social on here but she's looking for stuff like this
Hey 500! Thanks for looking out! I think if you mouse over a user if you're on a computer there is a little mail icon to contact users who have that feature enabled. I sent you a message though, I think it'll go straight to your email.
after 1 guitar strum i thought if he dont go for Liam vox i will be mad, but damm you did it and mixed it with a warmer happier mood in your articulation. nice composition and well mixed, that vibe is really catchy. im excited whats coming from you. love from a banana
Thank you Banana! That's really really kind of you to say and I appreciate you taking a listen and leaving this feed back, such high praise. You've made my night friend!
Definitely get a 90s rock vibe out of this, sounds good man, the vocals go well with the sound design and the guitar playing and percussions sound great also.
I certainly agree with what is already written, it is a very good track, with great potential. Yes you may add some drum breaks, truly this would change things to more energetic and "spicy". Possibly a second voice, as said female, would add color to your song. Anyhow it is pure rock, with great guitars and well put vocals. Keep up the excellent work
Best wishes, Anthony
I'm digging hearing a bit more rock here lately, and this is another cool track. Pretty catchy, mix sounds pretty good to my amateur ears. I think you could maybe insert a few drum breaks and fills here and there, mostly on the pauses between verses and or chorus. That would accent things nicely. Great song!!
Thank you Zoot, I appreciate this feedback/encouragement, thanks for giving it a listen as well. Definitely will see if can add a drum fill, there is one spot I know desperately needs it.
Ok, first I like your track ,second you asking for advise, so I am not a pro, just say you my opinion, around 1.00 and 2.00 min I would like to hear more energy in drum section, I also think to be nice on chorus put female vocal and last one guitar solo make more visible cos now for me drums and solo guitar are too quiet, at the moment I siting with headphones ,so my impressions from this point. In general VERY good track and have big potential .
Hmm, I hadn't thought about female vocals on this, or some soprano vocals, maybe a member here on looperman feels brave and would wants to collaborate with me. Great suggestion Leo, and thank you for the feedback and giving it a listen I appreciate ya!
Thanks a lot Zoot, your stuff on your page is so inspiring, I feel this type of music is right in your wheel house so you giving it a listen and feedback means a lot! You're absolutely right about suffering being good for art. Sometimes creativity can sprout from a single seed of misery.
