I don't deny my headset is cheap, but I was picking up some crackling in the left piece on this track. This was super relaxing and heartfelt. Excellent.

I saw your profile and you do listen to some great music. This track is nice. Its quite hard but its calm and beautiful at the same time. Could see someone like Anders FridÃÂn singing on this.
Great job!! Faved.

A lot of great transitions and changes in this song. You used the guitars and the drums to create a lot of variety that stayed cohesive. Your songs have a lot of momentum and this does as well. Great job, as always. Kper

Hello there Steinaa,

Thanks for listening and commenting on my rock-metal song I made awhile ago. I appreciate your talents here as well in this cool tune. Lots of good guitar playing going on and it all is well organized. Your playing is very good and the whole song fits together well. I like the drums too. Makes me wanna do another metal tune. :-)

Hey Randall.

Your rock-metal song is still one of the best songs on the site, so why not make another attempt on a rock/metal-ish song? I'm sure the whole rock and metal-community would appreciate it alot.
Thanks for the compliments on the song btw, it means alot :)
Keep rockin Randall!

listened to a bunch of your tracks now, some of them I have faved to listen again ... I'm completely blown away ...
I simply love your style, there's almost no weak point in there, fantastic playing, sound, arrangement ... lots of energy, some beautiful moments ... you're music shows an impressing variety, it doesn't become boring (which is often something that I have to notice when listening to some metal bands, many of them repeat themselves way too much!!) ...
my expectations to your songs had been high after listening the first one ... you meet them easily and even surpass them!!!
awesome work!!! and I mean all your tracks, not only this one (which is my personal fav so far ...)
perfect ....
I'm glad to find music of that quality here ....

peace and respect, rei

Hey rei :)
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, but I'm in a busy work-week atm. Anyway - I'm glad you took some time to listen to my stuff, and even more happy that you like it..! This might be one of the best reviews I've gotten in a long time - so thank you very much. It means alot :)
Maybe we could colab on something one day?

Rock on buddy.

Great playing, love the guitar work. I agree the guitar is tight. Like the track a lot. Good work-Respect.
Using Garage band and the drums always lack something, even with a nice sample. You got a great beat there that gives it a little more colour, than I am getting at present.
Great work.

Hey BlackJacob.
Thrilled to read that you love the guitar work..! (Which guitarist wouldnt..?)
I've never tried garage band, so I wouldnt know much about it..
Anyway - thanks for leaving a comment :)

some say rock instrumentals are boring ... you and me know it better!!!
but it takes some musical experience to write and arrange instrumentals in a way, that nobody misses vocals ... you show that skills!!
and your guitar playing is exceptional, very very tight, awesome sound, very complete technique ... perfect!!!
it's interesting to me that we use similar equipment, I also record with reaper, and I use a line6 podXTlive ... Addictive Drums I have already ordered ... lol
looking forward to hear more!!

peace and respect, rei

Instrumentals are anything but boring if you do it right!
Thank you once again for your compliments, and for taking your time to leave these comments..!
Yeah, Reaper has been my standard program for awhile now, and I'm reeeally satisified with my Line 6 Pod - a truly amazing tool for a guitarist!
Addictive Drums sounds way better than any drumprogram out there right now, in my opinion :)

And again - thank you for a great review..!

Hoping for another Rock/metal-track from your side soon mate, always a pleasure to listen to!

your a true metal god not only a metal god but a musical phenominon...YOu probably get people asking you to sing vocals all the time on your track ehh? I would sing on this just for fun my vocals have improved.

as soon as i heard this kick in i emediatly grabbed a pen and paper and writen atleast a page worth of lyrics..this inspired me truley and deeply. Steinaa you need to let the world hear you man. if anyone has a shot at it you deserve one.

Rock on! great piece of music! I like how it doesn't stay so intense through - out the entire song, the slowing down and building back up is something i really appreciate. all and all this is something i could listen to and never get tired of, great job!

modest mouse almost!
very cool!
I love it!

Drums are really great, but some of the the volume parts irked me..
drums sounded louder, but the guitars sounded just as loud....
Irked me..
not in a bad way...
I would love to hear the vocalized version?
Great work!
Steinaa
Steinaa replied Unknown
This is one of my oldest songs on the site, and my mixing was not too good back then.. But it stays because of the melody :)

Unfortunately there is no vocalized version of this song..

But thanks for the review though!

Great tune, man. The lead work is simple, but highly effective. I especially like the way you go from fast, distorted guitar to slower, clean sound - it breaks up the monotony of a song and keeps things interesting.
Steinaa

Hi SpyderX. Been experimenting with simple lead-work lately.. Its good to see it pays off :)
And its great to hear that you like the transmissions between heavy and clean..!
Thanks for leaving a comment - its always appreciated :)

Nice, a new song from Steinaa :P
Your style is great man, but you already know this right?
You could even make the strings sounds higher to accentuate the epic tone imho.

I tried to experiment with the strings, and I thought this was the best way to use them.. But then again it might be something wrong with my ears :p
