Excellent!You have a great thing going with ChrisCharles,keep em coming.I really like the mix,definitely a different kind of feel.
The vocals are strong and have great effects on them,subtle yet substantial.Great lyrics too.Great job down the home stretch of the song,I dig the way everything meshes with the vocals.

This is why collabs are so important - each brings a strength to the mix which creates an equation where the sum total exceeds the components. Kind of like "1 + 1 = 5" you know?

Good stuff. If the guitar was any less happening, this track wouldn't have really worked. I like this one a lot!

love this, going to add it to my favs, this reminds of some of Kings of Leon's older stuff. This is a really great track, I think its one the best I have heard on the site, and believe me I have heard a lot. Nice job on this!!!

Very cool track Gord. Has verything a great song needs, catchy music, not overproduced and great lyrics with a decent vocal track. Kinda poppy with a bit of an edge to it. dl and fav.

Thanks Wanye. I value your opinion man. I would also value some pointers as to how to make my tracks better. I know they need some changes made but, I'm not sure what to change. If you have any ideas? .......... that would be great.

I told ya I would get back to you with a review. This song grabbed my ear as soon as I played it!! I LIKE the "effected" guitar,,,has a 'ringin' quality that stands out!! I would bring the harmonica up front alittle and boost it's volume abit as it adds alot to the song. Your vocals are great and all-in-all it's a great tune. With some re-mixing, you could make some money with a tune like this!!! StarLynx

Catchy number, like it! This song is cool, the drums are nice and all the instruments go together well. If I heard the tracks seperately, I probably would have thought they wouldn't work together but they really do and it certainly has a unique feel.

wow!!! well with a belly full of meat and spiced rum this was an absolutely fabulous track to end the evening with! would love to sing this once! I had the enjoyment of pulling out the Bb harp and it was heaven! I must sleep now common sense is dragging me down the hallway as I type! but will comment further when more brain cell are intact! thanks for the pleasant dreams that this will result!

This is a good tune, there's a wonderful melody in your chords. But I have to admit, I'm not to crazy about the effected rythm guitar. In my opinion a clean acoustic or a telecaster would make a solid base for the vocals.
Having said that, this is a great track and when you're done it will absoultely fantastic. Keep it up!

Drums are complex, I like that it contrasts the simplicity of the guitar. An effected guitar lead would bring it all together really nice. Good work.

Thanks Rei, coming from you that means alot. I use lots of your loops and appreciate you sharing with us all. I'm sorry I don't have loops to share back with anyone (I don't play anything really, but maybe one day when I get time.) I do however love to mix and write lyrics, actually I really really love the lyrics part. To me it doesn't even matter if they're that good, because for me it gets crap out of my head and makes me feel better.

this is such a good arrangement of materials i actually know and love - Rei guitars! i did a track using lots a the same source sounds it's like they are twins. i'll haveta re-up & send you a link.

The loops are great eh. This was one of the first mixes I did and to be honest, I thought it wasn't too bad. I'm sure someone could make my mix a lot better by adding or taking away but anyway...... That would be great....send me a link I would love to hear it.
