I gave Just Another Heartbreak by DSNICK a listen, and right off the bat, Ive got to sayI really love the vibe. The guitar work pulls you in instantly. Its moody, clean, and perfectly sets the tone for the kind of emotional space the title hints at. Theres a nice warmth to the way its mixed, too. It feels intimate, like something youd hear while reflecting late at night.
If I had to nitpick, I think the track could use a little more variation as it progresses. Maybe a switch-up in the drums, a breakdown, or even just a slight melodic change wouldve elevated it. The core loop is solid, but by the halfway mark I found myself wanting a shiftsomething to keep the momentum moving forward emotionally.
Still, overall, I really respect the honesty of the composition. It doesnt try too hardit just sits in its emotion and lets the listener feel it. That restraint, paired with the lo-fi, melancholic feel, gives the whole thing a real charm. Definitely one Id revisit when Im in that reflective headspace.
Hello enjoyed this one, one of my favs from you that I've heard. Nice depth to the mix. It's actually quite trippy tho that voice that cones in at the 20 sec mark and later is kinda creepy lol.
Hi, Nick. This song is really good. Your vocal was excellent. I've never attempted to make a Reggae track, probably would fail miserably, but you did a great job on this one. I'm inclined to search out your acapella for it and see where it takes me. Very nice work!
Hi, 2nick8. I think this is your best track yet, although I must admit I haven't listened to everything you have posted here on LM! Anyway, this track has really nice vocal delivery. For some reason, I heard little flavours of George Michael coming through. He was amazing, so that's a high compliment from me.
I liked the intimate approach to vocal delivery you had on the track. I think you should definitely do more of this. It suits your voice.
There is absolutely no reason why this hasn't been commented on here. I'm a little late too, but I didn't want to leave that uncommented. It's a beautiful track that doesn't really fit anywhere. Your singing is passionate and fits the whole thing wonderfully. You chose unusual percussion and instrumentation, but it gives the track an exotic feel. Good job!
Cheers,
Micky
great opening bro, really good vocal tone on this i think one of the synths is to loud and crushes the delicate one and clashes with the vox, in place' harder to catch your words but i thought it was a good effort from you vocally, you have a good range in your voice, keep working hard bro
Hey Nick
This one is really great!!
Your voice is so beautiful and pure here.
The beat is also very clean and well mastered.
Sounds very professional.
I suddenly hear a lot of progress.
Well done mister!!
Great song man. Sounds really smooth. Just one problem my good sir. The autotune is quite irritating. Having heard your other songs, vocally, you can carry a song naturally, bro! Put up the unprocessed vocals please. Well done, though. Cheers!
how you bro, its been a while, hope all is well. nice strong vocal, well written. nice return, different vibe from you, but you got all the angles covered fam
great to see you about bro, hope your well and the waves are calming for you. great track you've not let the break affect your talent, keep your chin up Nick, let your music be your outlet, great vocal, mix and production
