I don't know if everyone will agree, but I always think it's better if a vocalist can work with an existing backing track rather than the other way around (at least in my experience) and this is proof of that. Really professional sounding track this. Well done to all involved :)

I think it's a matter of preference, level of comfortability, and some other stuff mixed in there. Haha.
The "backwards" process isn't for everyone, and I certainly tip my hat off to those who do it so well you can't tell which came first.

Well, I'm sitting here with goosebumps. There is nothing better than two huge talents like Patricia Edwards and Richie Winn collaborating on a beautiful song. Everything in this one is absolute perfection, from your vocals, to Richie's immaculate instrumentation and mixing. Great song, Patricia! Loved the melody and the message. Richie's backing track was excellent. I wouldn't call this pop. Has more of a gospel flavour, particularly with the chord choices and progression for the piano part. But, not really gospel in terms of message either. But, frankly, it doesn't matter. Message is uplifting. Music is uplifting. Who could ask for anything more - particularly at this time?
