on Do You Hear What I Hear by FullCapicityMuzic
I like to home in on tracks that for whatever reason other folks seem to miss (It took me a while to find one on your page)
I can't see why this missed out. We must be playing host to a right bunch of scrooges & grinches on this website since only three people have commented on this most excellent christmas track before me.
The only complaint i have to make about it is that half way through i went out to check the stocking i'd hung up by the chimney before i realized that he aint coming for another nine months!
Who's that singing on the track with you by way? Is that a future star from the Edwards Clan i hear?
It was very cute.

on Wanna Be In Love by FullCapicityMuzic
Patricia,

I am a bit of an old git! When I see the word "pop" in musical genre lists I generally listen to about 20 to 40 seconds of the track before I switch it off and curse like mad! There is just this X Factor appeal going on everywhere dragging in those who maybe like pop because their friends have told them what is cool to listen to! It is a shame. I am of the belief that if bad music wasn't rammed down the throats of these people by Mr Simon Cowell et al, then the charts would have an unfamiliar but better feel about them. Society is to blame for this.

And now your track.....

Soul, soul, soul. I appreciate the effort you have put into making the listener feel that they can offer you your love, concur with your sentiment or know someone going through a bad relationship that a certain song triggers the hairs on their necks. I feel you have achieved this and much more. A truly harmonious, strong and expressive vocal talent you have. And you have captured the whole essence of emotion in this song. I congratulate you. This is lovely!

Regards,
djkp

Lol!

Thank you djkp. TBH I'm really not sure WTHeck pop is anymore. It seems to have changed so much.

I appreciate, and thank you for your comments.

You're the superstar vocalist of looper! Absolutely brilliant collab with Bear – a beautiful song with a David Gilmour touch. I there was only a fav button on this site I'd press it again and again and again and...
/pmk - friend and fan.

Mr. Bear is open to ideas, not that there's a need to have any, and such a motivating team member :-).

Thank you pmk!!!!

This song is amazing. YOU, my friend, are amazing. I was listening for the imperfections that you stated in the description, like the kick being off in certain spots, and the mix not being perfect. But I didn't notice any of it, I was pleasently blinded by the beauty of your voice. You can have the ability to become one of our best singer/songwriters of our time. I always look at music from a consumer standpoint, even when I'm creating music for myself. This song proves that you are a force to be reckon with and I'm gonna give you a standing ovation for this record. Thank you for sharing this exquisite art!

Wow! You guys nailed that classic blues sound like Wesley Snipes nails his tax bills with his paper shredder. Now you might think that's a strange analogy but let me tell you nobody, but nobody shreds tax bills like Wesley Snipes!
That's how good this track is!

This track is just amazing and should be put out to the masses, your voice is just stunning and if you cannot go a long way with it, then there is something wrong. Richie's wonderful backing does it full justice and this track should go a long way.Congratulations to you both for a great track.

What to say, listening to this? You approach the track, in a very professional manner.
The music is light, and at the top level .... Just enough to highlight your beautiful voice.
Again, here is the bar, placed very high.
I'm speechless, knowing that this great work, this collaboration is beyond the oceans. You both have my admiration and my respect.

Another superb cover!...if I can just point out one particular part of Richie's playing (before I go into total Pat fan meltdown!lol)..nothing better exemplifies the sound package here than Richie's muted picking,by itself it's insignificant but it lends everything to this track, and gives that Steve Cropper session guitarist polish, plus I've yet to hear anyone use and incorporate EZDrummer as well as Richie does...he's a walking musical studio all by himself!......To tell the truth I've never been a Shania Twain fan..in fact I'm still not!..I'm a Pat Edwards Fan!!(and Richie Winn!) lol..a buck will get you ten if both songs were broadcast live and a national poll taken,Pat would win convincingly,I have absolutely no doubt...I think what we're hearing here is a voice that is on a life's journey, one that is exceptional now and one that will even improve more as time progresses....hard to believe, but true I think....cheers Dave

Richie is one of the best producers, muzicians, team players, all that, that I've ever had the awesome pleasure of working through internet with haha. It gives me great pleasure to say that I think I've found someone who could possibly be more of a perfectionist than me haha. Hands down, he is one of the best here on Looperman!

And ya know Dave, everytime I hear tracks such as this one it gives me a bit more thought about wanting that muzic career, this time the way I've wanted, worldwide.

I think I may already be there :-). Thanks Dave!

Just when I think you two cannot top your latest hit, you come along with another great song. If you aren't careful, Nashville just might come calling and request your presence in their fair city.

You know what? I've got all the bags on the bus, I'll grab Richie, swing by and pick you up Patricia, and it's off to Nashville we go.

You can sing absolutely any genre. I am not a big country fan, but if all country sounded like this, I sure would be. Bravo to both of you for a job really, really well done.

Oh, and this one was downloaded so me and the Mrs. might be able to take a turn around the dance floor. Thanks for that.

Haha, I like that approach MUCH better Mr. Bear! Before we needed to get in the bus, then we needed to go somewhere in the bus, then we needed to fill the bus...and finally we're waiting on the bus to arrive :-). I pray we are almost there. You know the driver's seat is yours.

Thanks much Mr. Bear :-)

Here! it is sufficient to be absent a few days, for an event as exciting, as I listening now with chills all over, sometimes ....
You need to meet you virtually, any two ....and it is done today. I have great respect for your talent, and your work.
A truly surprising moment of mutual passion, and audio quality .... Despite the distances.
I have no other words in English to express what I feel, sorry, but my congratulations.... As some already expressed, you put any two, the bar very, very high ....

With all apologies to any religious sensibilities, your home page is going to become a Mecca for music lovers and the path is going to be beaten far and wide with the coming and goings of the multitudes...I grew up on the blues, but typically early on it was the white twelve bar variety synthesised by a legion of plagiarists mainly from England, light years removed from this variety...This just has everything, the whole song is a sweet spot..The Staple Singers couldn't do better,I'm totally blown away by those harmonies..there's such a great balance between you and Richie, very professional,in fact it's better than that...it's organic..it's alive.....I really wish I was getting paid by some music rag and giving a full length critique here, because I would wax lyrical and at great length....the music you two are creating is an accretion from dues well paid over an obviously well focused time...it not only deserves but demands respect......Superb! cheers Dave

LOL, PJB you are so good for the ego :-)

Strange that I was having a conversation the other day about sparking up a blues career, the joke was my headline approach "Patty Blows The Blues", it was funny.

Anyway, I figure you don't need a great voice to sing blues, most people who listen to it are already in some sort of dysfunctional state of mind so I wouldn't have to work hard at live shows AND if I can come up with 17 more songs I'd have a pretty good following and I'd be able to generate shows in no time. Now that I think about it, I just might work haha.

Any way, Richie informed me this is no typical 12 bar blues, in fact I got a very helpful crash course in what makes 12 bar blues 12 bar blues.

And just so my reply doesn't ooze of length, thanks Dave. I really do appreciate it, and whatever the genre, I think I can count on you to be somewhere in there...even it if is just giving a "full length critique", which is a pretty big and important job :-)
