Wobble..is..Greaaaaaaaat. The sound you went for is cool, that string sample is brilliant, really adds a great vibe to this track. In the second half of the song you could add some nice looong pads to fill the space up a bit, but other than that, great tune.

Great track Kii, really looking forward to hearing this with some vox. This is definately your best song to date. You should try working with this style again.

hey man i'm totally diggin the whole horror feel of the track but just sounds like it shoulda been some low bass parts in there some where. i see in one of your replies you said that you forgot ot save it as a FL file. i hate when that happens lol. the track doesnt sound all that complicated to make tho. i'm sure you could remake it and i think you should. anyways you should check out some of my track and tell me what you think =]
Kazm
Kazm replied Unknown
Yeah, man... but, y'know, sh*t happens, yeah?
I could remake it... the only problem would be the drums, it's a sliced amen break, and it's complicated... so, yeah, may chuck it into FL and put a bassline behind it... I'll try it.
Thanks for the reviwe dude.
Peace.

This would be a perfect backing track to use with voice samples of classic lines from horror/suspense movies - I'm thinking Boris Karloff, Vincent Price, maybe even Richard O'Brien! Great work!

Wow... dude!
Genious idea! That is well worth a look...
I'll try it out when I got a bit of spare time, it's chock a block at the mo' in my life... damn college coursework!

Trippy Hoppish synth in the intro. That sliced loop gives a trippy feel too thanks to it's sudden release. Only thing i can suggest without going too far would be not to let the pad go. It just the feel for a moment. That's dark.. I think it's more trip hop than hip hop. But nice work. Love the simple melodies

Kazm replied Unknown
Thanks for the review, man.
That beats actually a sliced and very slow Amen Break XD
I would edit it, but I forgot to save it as a goddamn FL file, I've only got the MP3 =(.
Thanks again man.
Peace.

Ha that part when you say Nightmare
and then everything begins to form is really good

This has a dark element, but if you filtered the clap or reverb on it it would make this sound even better

Speak of the devil, You've got a new track.
The volume on my speakers is spa*zing out so I can't get the most out of this track yet, but from what I can hear it's very good, I like the little Sound f/x and the the slow melody is great. A huge improvement from some of your older stuff, I really enjoyed listening.

Hey dude, thanks. And sort your goddamn speakers out... dubstep can't be having speakers with bad soundage!

Very good.
The only thing I don't like is the clap at the start, if you put some more reverb on it, or changed the sound I think it would give the intro a darker atmosphere. No real problems with the rest of the track, lots of variation, a good dark feel all through the song, great work.
Kazm
Kazm replied Unknown
Hmmm... good point.
I may try that.
Damn you Helix, just as I thought I'd actually finished a track XD.

Cool track, I like the arps a lot, the clap was a bit loud at the start but seemed to fit in more when the other arps came in. Personally I would have put in some sort of melody in the middish parts of the song.

Yeah I get what you mean. Though if I change it now, I'll probably screw up :P

Good little track here. Almost on the minimalist side sometimes, but never the less, a good song. It provokes 2001 Space Oddessey visions, as it almost has that 70's Moog synth sound. Excellent production.

this is much nicer than riddle. Helix is right tho i think; it needs a sub inthe background just to give it a little oomph. And personally i would lose the sample and put angry person in there instead, it suits the genre much nicer lol.
Kazm
Kazm replied Unknown
Yeah, I'll probably try it out (Y)

cool, like how you messed around with those beats and added some nice effect automations!

love that depthcore sytrus preset! mad sound ;)

i really like the ending of the tune, where you added that hat on every 4. and that ending melody is good!

awesome man, well done! if you want to use another one of me beats, there should be a few new ones up soon. i made one today, just waiting for validation!

Cheers bro

And don't worry, I won't be stealing your beats for much longer =P I'm conentrating on making more in depth derum beats ATM. I got one uploaded, dunno if it's been validated yet.
Thanks again man, This track would be considerably worse without your beat.

Is the word to describe the improvement from the last few tracks. The phased/flanged drums sound great, I missed a big sub bassline though, I don't know if one was present, mu speakers are awful and produce no bass. I liked the voice sample, fits in very well but I felt it got a bit predictable, by that I mean there was no sort of break in which the beat changed or you added a new beat or summat.
But other than that, top song, I enjoyed listening.
Kazm
Kazm replied Unknown
Lol, read the description, not my drums XD.
Yeah, it's kinds what you get with certain types of Dubstep... well, my kind at least XD.
Thanks for the review.

I sort of got a 70´s cop show feel to this but then it changes into something completely different near the end. Quirky track but I liked it !!! all the best .. mik

Kazm replied Unknown
Hmmm... interesting idea. I tried to make the end sound Drum and Bass-y while still making it fit in with the rest of the song. I think I did all right =). Thanks for the review!

Did you use Cubase?
Sam just did this, I think yours is better though.
It's impressive seeing as only a few loops were used.
Good work Kazm.

Kazm replied Unknown
Yeah, I did. 7 samples, pitch and tempo tweakage all over the shop :D.
I wanna hear Sam's.
Thanks for the review.
