This track is quite bleak, there isn't a part which stands out to me as interesting or even complex. You've got the skills though, just start thinking in more depth and you'll kick some ass.. maybe.

Quite impressive for your age actually! I wish i was making music like this that long ago. Mind you dubstep wasnt around then. I just made weird trippy type songs. Good fun though, keep at it.

Ok now! Tips for them variations from the Jah Know selektah.

Good good 4x4 , but to cross it up some try and do this, take 4 bar measures, split the bass synth into 4 distinct variations (1 w/ cutoff set low, 1 set high, 1 w/ extra saw, 1 w/ -1 octave lower) Not divide each of those sounds 4 ways across that 16 bar bassline! man you did do a pretty nice job on it. I'm halfway tempted to help you lay a few pads and pluck synths lines init.

Nice job m8! Let's collab on some Bassline sometime...

Thanks.

As for the collab, I'd love to, just hit me up.

Good tips, the variations you're suggesting could really work well!

Thanks again.

Jah KNow can totally dig this. Here's my tip for us Bassline lovers. Let's not sample this shit no mo! There's so much reworked UK bassline out there it's time for us to blow something up on our own!

You got a great feel init, but lemme help you out here and again. Screw them gun sounds - - dun dun in 2009. Your bass is killin it, but I wanna here your sounds now, not a sample CD. Drumline is tite! Could go up another 10-15 bpm in my opinion, but whatev.

I lied this track, but man I wanna hear more. The mastering levels need some work init too, but overall a pretty sweet go so far. You want tips on programming your own synths for UK bassline just let Jah Know know.

Bless! Keep em rollin'

The trick is to play a lead line with the wobble rate. pass that melody line around several different instruments or types of synth sounds at once. at least that's my input.. ;)

good go. keep pushin' it!

It's a wobble alright, but here's my add.

Get in there and play around with free synch rate wobble instead of midi synched. Create macro envelopes for the rate so it follows the bass line with more of an organic wobble.

It's got a decent drum line, but could use some variation within. (triplet hi hats ;) ). This is a good go man, keep working this heory out. we need steppahs to unite!

Thanks.

You're right, the drums could be variated more.

I'll take in what you say and improve the track.

wheres the wobbly bass?
LabRatzProduction
LabRatzProduction replied Unknown
it kicks in at around 0:28, and ok, it's not that wobbly, but i think it's ok for my first crack at dubstep.

It's headed in the right direction fam...bass comes off a little fuzzy...could do with some more elements in there...maybe some strings and more percussive instruments...but I like the way it's going still...still wanted to skank out a bit...
