My ear is not quite tuned to rap so I'm not sure if my analysis would be helpful, I quite like the sample composition but for my taste it's too static and repetitive. However that layout is quite common in rap music. I guess my insight is to focus on breaking the norm rather than following the layout of a genre whilst still being aware of what sounds people like. This is because all new and popular tracks tend to repeat certain patterns, just composed in a new way.
