Thats one of the best ive heard on this site in a while keep up the good work. And i would suggest you bring the piano up a lil more over the bass and add some more reverb to the piano just a suggestion tho. Definitely a good track tho.

on Comatose Getaway by SinisterMindset
bottom line is I loved it. It has a great sense of room for an artist to fall right in. They only advice I have is the name shoudn't be Comatose Getaway it should be Called an enlighting invite because it opened up my creative juices and got things flowing. Good work.

Im a HUGE fan of the piano. Im happy u used sustain on it in this track. You should use it alot more. Its important. IF you can use it and it sounds good then you should always incoporate it. My opinion. Im a fan of your work. Keep up the good work. Your talented for sure and your music is always well put together.

It has that sinister revenge on the mind quality. Or
deep in thought, very soulful feel. Not hating. There is potential in this for a lyrical giant who is willing to spit the whole way thru so keep doing you.

Nice keys. The bass is good too. Maybe it could use a little more variation in the velocity of the keys. Good job.

This is a really great track. I think it needs some strings to air it out.

I don't agree with this needing bigger bass, it's understated and it works for this beat. How do you write your drum lines? Do you use MiDi and 'pencil' them in or do you use a drum machine/ and or samples? I like your drum lines. Let me know. PEACE.
SinisterMindset

sampled drum kits and Fruity Loops 8. I usually don't stick with my first drum line... when I add a melody it changes everything

Yo, I LOVE this one man! It has a kinda sad and lonely feel to it. I'd love to add some strings to it. Send me the file (if you have Reason 4 that'd be great because then I could see the sample(s) layout). What software did you record this in? Whats the BPM? Hit me up!
SinisterMindset
SinisterMindset replied Unknown
i make everything in FL8. I could send you the song in samples, wav? and bunch of the drum samples i use too.
