hi. there's lots of samples in here covering the main message (at first) but overall production very positive and really cool sounding. female vox sexy as always in opposite to male additions. both timing works perfectly (as always). limiter is limiting the power of the music and audio, no exeptions. just a thought. less is more (in a sense).
thank you for your insight alex as always your right on the mark...still developing my mix/master skills as you can tell...really i need a break from the BOX and want to focus on writing for a lil while, lemme know if you intereseted in working on a lil Loopy Collab with me and Xel..we are looking to expand our network of friends on the net and want to start right here
hi again, at first I was really surprised that I commented on this already haha. But seriously you might know that productions like this are somwhere usually quite far away from my musical preferences and the stuff I am usually listening too...
Anyway to follow J. Monae thought it is 'Dance or Die' tune which was my reference on the previous comment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGDkdx2zjK0 Of course your song is much heavier and basically I find female vocals extremely decadent-sounding. But I would recommend you to listen to the entire 'Archandroid' album anyway - it is probably one of the best contemporary albums I came across last few years (I listen mostly to older music). Processing used on vocal from around 2:47 definitely reminded me of one of the number from this album.
And lol I do not really think vox should be higher or lower haha - it's perfect in that context. I only suggest you to put the song lyrics on the future tracks (eventually) as it's still a bit difficult to me to figure out some spoken phrases... and get the proper perspective from the very songwriting point of view.
thank you for that deep and moving anylysis of my work central!!!
yes i agree the voice should be higher.
only using 4 voices on my sub patch does seem to limit the depth and threfore overall tone of the chord progression.
I was thinking the same thing...
Perhaps if just go nutz with it and switch it to a Poly and use a second oscilator to bring in some deep raw sq/saw movement in the lower octaves i could draw out the true character of the sound and therefore fill in the "OBVIOUS" gap in my mixing techniques that have left such a sizable piece of the sonic spectrum without proper attention.....
yes that it....you are totally right central....i think i will just got for it and scrap this track and start from scratch with the voice higher....
thanks for the support....

If you were doing this on St Paddys I hope you guys were properly lubricated....I personally recommend Killkenny Cream Ale for the long haul...Bushmills whiskey (Black Label) if you are in a hurry....ha...sounds like you were having fun...I know squat about the genre...but keep on doing it...got some good stuff happening....
thank you im very proud of this track, i feel like its the best representation of what #SickHop is all about, musically and lyrically. Out of curiostiy which part of the vox fx did you enjoy,
hey. this is some very fine project. I really liked that first section with female vox. it's a bit hot mixed or simply too close recorded for my taste but it is still very cool. interesting beat and very funky bassline. nice. the second part is not that good for me and it is actually going nowhere but that's still only my personal prefferences...
nice work! keep up the production.
most of the sounds are my girls voice distorted and time stretched then chopped and fx'd up in ableton, some are maschine kit sounds, the fiddle is all me with a massive patch i made and there is a sample or two from a loopmaster pack i got on my phone...thanks for the love...this version is obviously a test run and is blown out and not mixed at all, but im glad u check out the soundcloud version it came out pretty good i think
i like the vocal sound you achieve. some nice mixing and effects going on. and now the male voice. I like when there several different voices in the track - creates a drama - a dialogue. the sounds are awesome. great job!
Dam bro got me all pink in the face and shit....jk, much love though thank you for the steller review that shit get me fired up for more you know...im glad u like...check out the public relese if you havent its a bit more tame and mixed down properly so it gives a better overall feel i think...but this track was just for fun for my loopy bros and sisters, quick mixed and freestyle played the vox instrument through it....keep it creepy ya,
