How you been Orlando the painter of sound? Been a while, good to hear your still at it. Beautiful.... It's like remembering, maybe driving away from a past life on to bigger and better things, reminiscing of good times gone by. Like the enjoyable time I had here in the past :D Can feel this one for sure!
For a few seconds I was wondering "who the hell is this guy?"...haha...Welcome back Burton my friend...are you still building unique guitars? In any case nice to have you back and thank you so kindly for your positive feedback and the fav ! See ya along the road...
What a track my friend...chillrock, chill out, prog rock, fusion...don't care...your true art is the most important thing...shiny track with some hope in this rude world...showed to my children and they were shadowly stared into the sun with some small teardrops in their eyes (girls), the small one listened to it in huge silence...(boy, 3 years old...give us more Orlando= just because the silence...:-)
Anyway, Pink Floydish masterpiece here...hats off
Wow, my dear friend...I must say I'm pleasantly surprised
but truly grateful for such a generous feedback, although
I'm not sure about scarring your children with my music...haha...joke aside, I've merged many things and ideas within this track, so I guess it's one of those love
it or hate it situations, so I'm not surprised getting the first fav relatively late, but I'm so much happier that it came from you dear neighbour..:) Thank you so much for your support !!
I absolutely love this. The guitar & synth give it a forlorn wandering kind of feel. It's perfect for staring over the ocean or driving 100s of miles on the Highway. I could easily imagine this in a film soundtrack. It's in the sort of style I want to be working on once my making "spooky music" phase runs its course. I'm downloading this to put on my "driving down the highway" playlist on my Ipod. Fantastic job..
Your composing skills are insane to come up with this whole thing, truly a real work of art in its own right. The whole track has an excellent buildup and one instrument leads into another with great transitioning. I don't listen to enough music like this but I highly enjoyed it, you got a fav from me for sure
I don't know what anyone else said, but I bet it was all good as I am standing and clapping in a lively manner. You gentlemen have created something very peaceful that makes me think of the leaves on tree branches gently blowing in the wind. This is so beautiful! I simply love the strings. Great job you guys!
the clarity of the sound is exceptionally pure, very good mixing. Melodically speaking, it's very airy and smooth. All the instruments contribute to each other and enrich the overall feeling. It's simply a perfectly executed composition. Very nice to listen to, I loved it!
Orlando, I know it's you when I hear the guitar and even more when the violin arrives, thrill ! Orlando the one you are not scared for your ears to clic "play".
The only thing I can tell, try to get more power for your drums and bass, it's a bit shy on bass (low freq in gen)(but I'm a bassist so ... don't listen me).
Haha...I already received a very similar suggestion from
my cousin when drums and bass are in question. Maybe you're both right but I'm still about to decide whether to change something in that regard or not...we will see, but I'm very grateful for your honest opinion as well as for your overall positive feedback !:)
Channeling a little Bryan Ferry in the Intro ehh? The Guitars also reminds me slightly of Stairway. Influences are on your sleeve today. Percussion and drums are sublime in the mix. Lovely tune my friend.
Steve
First my apologise for late reply...As much as I like Bryan
(and Roxy) I didn't have him in mind doing that intro, nor evoking Led Zepp wasn't deliberate intention, but I always give up when the possibility of subconsciousness comes into consideration. Thanks a million for stopping by and calling this thing lovely !-:))
