You know that the first time I listen to it, I already have ideas about how I could expand on it. But as it is, it's a wonderful original ... an organic, natural song with a story... something I could never do. I wish I was blessed with poetic talent too... well, yeah, I'll have to live with just being a dance band musician. I love the sound of your voice and look forward to every opportunity to play with it... ;o)
Okay, so when we get through the one I'm dying to see what you want to do with this one. I like it. It's fun to play. You always seem to make things better.
I like the song very much, I don't mind the tambourine in it but it needs to be consistent. Second Vocal, hmmn, maybe listen to some old Ten thousand Maniacs for some references. I'll get back to yah! Well Done
Heeeey!
This one is really fun!!!
Your voice and that ukulule play are fantastic but on my humble opinion, you should delete that tambourine ... instead of that you better use a second vocal (background) ...
The song is too good and very uplifting which is rare nowadays ...
thanx for the upload,

Wow, thanks for sharing spear, I'm a big fan of Micky, he knows, he's got funk and rythme, like me, he's just a better producer I'm a dancer first so it's instinctive, was introduced to your voice earlier on Stevens, it's great. I to have been working on my Halloween piece, it's been ready for a fortnight I was waiting for the beginning of Oct, I've gone totally different to this stunning piece,
great to hear this again, this time round I paid more attention to the lyrics (and googled the poem). Had to laugh that it was her dear, true hearted pooch in the end burying a bone!
Hola spearcarrier no he podido evitar comentar otra vez tu pista, y resaltar la calidad de las voces y de la melodía. Es especial, muy agradable. Enorme tema. Salud y paz.
Ahh I love Halloween songs, we have a tradition here on looperman of doing them and posting them, so please make sure you re-post this in October. This reminds me slightly of priest (not judas, but the remenants of the original backing band of Ghost). I will post a reference. This is awesome. great mix, awesome composition. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mcDDkWoU4Ck
I wouldn't say spookie or experimental
More pop reggaeish 80's vibe track to me
ok that's not a specific genre either
But it's a cool track guys, well done
This track is so clean and refreshing. It sounds like you and Micky are in the same room, the vocals are great and the background music is perfectly matched to the vocals.
Great Track. Faved
Gran pista, donde sobresalen vuestras voces perfectamente acopladas. La música perfecta resaltando con fuerza el mensaje de esta obra de arte. Realmente un lujo que cuanto más lo escuchas más te va enganchando. Bien por los dos.
I'm not really into folk stuff, but your tracks are amazing.
You really have a good vision, this is incredible what you come up with, I think I've got a new idol!
Wow awesome, this is something I am not used to hear at looperman,
and I of course mean that in a good way.
This is some high level artistic stuff I hear, great job on the vocals.
The backing track is simple but it totally suits it.
Looove the flute twist at 2:50
Spoopy is my new favorite word. Thanks for that :D
I think it has potential for a halloween track. The mix balance could be a little tighter to allow for bus compression to bring up over-all levels.
It would be a shame not to hear it next to other halloween songs if the perceived volume is lower than the other tracks.
Running it through LANDR can help give you an idea of how it would "bloom" under mastering compression if you aren't sure.
Vocals and the composition are complimenting each other nicely.
Good work here!
Very spoopy stuff! :D
Tee hee! "Spoopy" was popular very shortly. Someone made a typo and it stuck for a while. I used it here because of filk, which is a genre that got it's name from a typo; spoopy filk is what I call filk that has to do with spoopy stuff. =^-^=
When you got to the technical advice, you lost me... thank goodness you didn't lose Micky. (LOL) He's going to recompress and I'll re-upload. While waiting for the new file I'm going to try to learn about blooming, LANDR, and bus compression.

All the best music is difficult to pin down.
The mix is great. The music is well written and arranged. It kinda reminds me of Avatar (band), less the death metal.
Nice work.
