You are doing fine, SolielxLune. You can start with the easier DAWs and move on. You can still put yourself into your track, because it's what you like. I've never used that particular DAW, but the mix and sound quality is very nice.
Thanks for your words. But I think that express myself in music will be hard. I've tried to learn since 5 years, but I have progressed nothing. It's hard when you don't have anyone to teach you. Internet is not very useful in this stuff. Anyway, I guess I have to keep trying.
This was really good. Definitely could picture this in several movies (alot of potential in a sci-fi movie in my opinion). The melody was really good. I personally liked the repetitiveness in it, it seems to fit the mood very well!
Thanks for your words.
To be honest, I'm still thinking this is "repetitive". The thing is, I didn't want to make it too short. For that reason I replayed the first part. But I'm glad that you liked it. Thanks! :)
I guess one can say when you do something it's not about what you know, rather how one feels during that moment. Your feeling here is expressed well. For me is an enjoyable listen. I couldn't find the sadness here that you described but is a vivid recreation. Thank you for sharing. Solid theme I thought. Peace.
Well, I guess you're right. Everyone can interpret everything on their own way. But, I think this is a sad song. Anyway, thanks for listening and comment :)
Well, if I'm honest, Magix Music Maker is easier than other softwares.
Just take a loop and combine with another. There's no science there.
I've tried to compose in FL Studio, and I can't. It's very difficult. Specially if you don't know anything about music as I do.
I know that in Magix you are not composing really ('cause loops are already recorded), yet it's a little more plain than create the song, note by note. (I hope I can explain myself. My english is not perfect).
Got some Yuki Kajiura feeling to it. Excellent track, sick mixing and alot of experience, I dont believe you recently started out.. Good stuff little sis..
There's a lot of goodness going on in this piece. I like how it moves, keeps evolving, doesn't get stuck and doesn't get boring. I like the early break and the use of silence (I like doing that, too). And then I like how the new section is very different from the first, yet somehow consistent with it. I love the voice. But I do think - since you described this as epic - that it could have been more epic with perhaps a bigger build, a layering of vocals, maybe rising in pitch, toward a climax. The comment right above this one I'm writing mentions that the resolution could be stronger and I agree. As I said, there's a lot of goodness in this, but I want to be knocked off my feet a little harder by the end.
Thanks for your words. And, yes... you're right about the end of the song. I'll tell you the same I said to the comment below: I was going to add an explosion sound at the end, but I'd already added it in the middle of the song. Sorry if the end is boring and weak. I'll keep your advice in mind and I'll try to improve. Thanks for the criticism and for listening!
(Sorry, my english is not perfect. I speak spanish).
Thanks!
Yes, I think so, too. Actually, I was going to add an explosion sound at the end, but I'd already added it in the middle of the song. So, I thought it would be "repetitive", and for that reason I didn't put the sound.
Thanks for listening!
I don't think it's boring at all. It's like the sunrise in the morning and then the birds come out and play. That's what I saw in the music anyway. Happy music! Don't put yourself down!
I listened and I like it! I make almost all my tracks from jamming out to drum loops, never knowing for sure whats gonna come out. After all is recorded, mixed, and edited it's as though it were meant to be. U have a talent that most don't and I will b looking out for more stuff from u, peace ;)
When I make my tracks, I mix loops in any way. I don't pay attention to the sound until this is finished. At last, I call the song with the emotion/kind of story wich is represented. But, if I'm honest, not always I'm inspired to create. And stuff like this is the result of it. (I hope I can explain myself. Sorry, my English is not perfect).
I don't think your music is boring, I think it is inspired. Looking at your last three pieces as a whole, this is one kick ass music score. Can't wait for the next installment.
