on retrowave drum loop 100bpm N HITHATS by browtek

It reminds me of everything I loved about David Gamson and Green Gartside (Scritti Politti) off their album Cupid and Psyche 85, and I came here tonight looking for a beat that could go under a GREAT reggae loop (one that has a weak, laid back beat and needs some dance punch under it). Hoping yours is that beat! Will return with a finished track if so! Great retro 80s drums!

browtek replied 19th Sep 2018 - 8 years ago

thanks man! I am eager to hear!

on Mellow Ballad Guitar by Rasputin

Welp? Rasp has done it again, he's just basically given us the entire 1970's acoustic album in a single potential loop. How do you DO this, bro? Is your brain made of vinyl? You scare me

Rasputin replied 8th Mar 2018 - 8 years ago

Haha... I think I'm just..... OLD. With decades of stuff engraved upon my brain...

Yeah, the trap has become pretty goddam tiresome here. This is my last stopby probably.

Hi Danke, I built another song with one of your loops. It's titled "Cool White Stuff" and you can hear it by clicking my profile. I tried to PM you this but Looperman's not working tonight. Sorry! Hope you like the track: it's Beatles and glam mixed together.

Thanks, DJC! I appreciate it. I'm just an old guy in South Texas, goofin' around with music.

Please YouTube search your loop's title, look for the one with Jerry Butler. Can you create a loop that sounds like what you find there? If so PLEEEEEASE let me know.

on See Boop Dee Bah by Rasputin

Ok, smartaleck :) Some of us GOT the See Boop Dee Bah joke :D I'm old enough to know what song that is!

Rasputin replied 30th Sep 2016 - 10 years ago

Heh heh... I was really turned on by Alice Fredenham's recent version. She really does the song exactly right, IMHO... doing it with great, respectful fidelity to the original.
