Yo wassup BlackMansta man how do you get your drums and 808's to sound so nice and clear like that I'm an aspiring artist who makes his own beats and raps on them. Do you have any tips? I use Logic Pro x.

Volume is what really matters to the 808 in my opinion. It doesn't have to be loud surprisingly.

It's the kick that causes the hype. let the kick overtake the volume, and keep the 808 at a nice level that doesn't cause it to start distorting.
