Quick question?
How do I make this sit good in the mix. Not just the sample but if I were to make my own (other than sidechaining) How could I make it punch like dat?

Hey man! thanks for the comment.

theres no sidechaining on this, but probably the main thing to getting a good punchy drum kit, starts with the actual sample itself, after that the eq and a good bit with the compressor and its pretty much done, another thing to add would be the knowledge of the different frequencies that should be played from the different instruments when fiddling with eq. :)
