Heh Bubble Pops. I have been searching for this sound for years. I used to have a yamaha synth sy7 from the 90's I think it was and it had roughly this type of sound in it, which I used on a song, but that synth got rained on and I've looked everywhere on the net for samples of it, but to no avail.
I came across your popping sound and it was as close as I was going to get so I've put it into my updated version of that song. I have also added a guitar solo over the top of it , so it isn't as predominant as it use to be, but I still like to here it popping away in the background. You can have a listen to it here.
