A very simple and effective way to make drums stand out is just add a drum buss, even a stock drum buss effect is (typically; i use abletons stock drum buss) very effective. (Subsequently for almost every melodic instrument I use a saturator to gain a similar effect)

Use Fruity Stereo Enhancer's "For strings" preset, good for anything. Also write a lot of pan changes in your piano roll especially for hi-hats. You can also use the stereo separation knob in the mixer for your sample and the panned hats to really make it sounding stereo.

I use 3xOsc to make a sub bass, route it to the kick, turn it all the way to mono and youll be set

Could be the low quality sounds you're using. I'm pretty sure because if you listen to the main snare its wide.Try playing with the velocity and panning.

im a noob but you could also make 2 808 tracks and pan them left and right

lower frequencies (kick/sub,808) should be all in mono, upper frequencies in stereo. You can do this with many tools, Izotope ozone imager is curently free for download, perfect for this.

Try widening the stereo image. fruity stereo imager is a fre stock plugin and its pretty nice
