2nd, without question I had an issue with what I viewed as an imbalance of contribution on here....That issue has since been resolved and no longer something I care about. Although I assure I had good intentions with my perspective, the approach wasn't the greatest I admit.
3rd, my issue wasn't that I didn't want people to use my music. I upload it so that it actually can be used. My issue was the imbalance of contribution.
4th I started a thread in the forum discussing this very subject (You should check it out if you have time) and received plenty of productive input on the subject as well as my perspective and approach.
I'm good bro. I don't have any expectations or concerns anymore. The input I received in the forum from the users here gave me enough advice and perspective for me to let it all go and just focus on the music. That's what I am doing...So feel free to download my stuff or hold my comments against me. Either way, I'll continue to upload good stuff...If you find it in heart to forgive my rants or wanna sit back and see the attitude change, great! I'll have plenty of good loops for you to download right here waiting for you.....

Just do it because it's what you truly, and absolutely love doing. That's really the only thing that matters. True, most of these DL'ers are bummy ass dudes that DL ANYTHING for the sake of DL'ing them, but there are actual people behind those downloads. Who genuinely can not express in enough words how much you're doing for them, because they don't know how to do it for themselves.
It's not because they don't want to contribute...it's because they don't know /how/, why else would they be downloading loop samples if they COULD make their own shit?
U got a gift b. don't take this site personally, don't feel like u gotta hold it's hand, don't feel like you're under appreciated. Just let your sound do the talking.

I had a thread opened on here discussing the same thing and concluded that the site just is what it is and appreciate it for just that. I'm not gonna be talking so much mess in the future. I'm over that phase. It was short lived.

But even in that scenario, the right thing to do would be to give back to the site once that person gets the ball rolling with their production. There has to be a balance. It shouldn't be one sided.
There are tons of users who have been members here for plenty of time and have downloaded tons of loops but have never uploaded anything. That's take take take but no give. I'm not necessarily saying I have the fullproof remedy but I am identifying the imbalance. This is a community. And if one appreciates this community, then one should give back to it and contribute. But I hear you and I appreciate you commenting on the subject. Just don't go the insult route with me. I'm far from dumb....

I never said anything about not wanting people to download my loops. I would never upload them if I didn't want ANYBODY to download them. What I'm saying is there should be more contribution.
I search through these loops and I see a dominant amount of loops that are uploaded by a small amount of people. It shouldn't be like that. Everyone should contribute. It's the right thing to do...
Now those that are "poor" (Which seems a little hard to fathom since they have a computer to download with), I'm not necessarily speaking about them. But those that come to the site, grab loops & go make beats with them, should definitely give back to the community that they constantly take from....
If I'm wrong for feeling like that, oh well. And anybody that does get offended has plenty of other options from other guys on here to download from. If they don't want to hear whats the right thing to do, then that's on them....
