I tried to support my initial impression of keeping the F# key but, I couldn't because the connection of the intro with the main part didn't sit well here....(same with the bridge). So I used the D# key - 128 bpm.

May be the D# key seems (pointwise) better but .... I think Frank got it right and F# serves effectively the overall harmony !!!
128 bpm tempo seems ok !!
