Thank you for clearing things up, Michael! You're always fantastic. Both Radium and I are huge fans of your work and will keep using it just as you've specified.
I'm a bit concerned that there might be a misunderstanding regarding the producer's role in terms of credit attribution. The current guideline to avoid using 'produced by' seems to inadvertently overshadow the significant effort and creativity I contribute to our joint projects. While I understand and respect the importance of adhering to non-commercial rights, and I'm fully capable of utilizing your materials within these boundaries for my professional work or demos, I feel it's crucial to acknowledge each other's contributions fairly.
Moreover, the evolving landscape of music licensing, especially with lyrics, seems to be shifting towards building a loyal fan base and following one's passion, with financial gains being a secondary outcome. This ethos resonates with me deeply.
Regarding the specific licensing terms you've posted, like the necessity for a commercial license to monetize on certain platforms and the stipulations for naming and crediting on platforms like YouTube and SoundCloud, I respect these conditions. However, I believe a more inclusive approach to crediting, that recognizes all contributors, could benefit us both in fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect.
I understand that however the reason why the terms are like that is is because a lot of people abuse the rights and as a lot of the songs that I post are specifically for remixing as there are times when the songs are available for that people do not listen. So the terms are set forth based off of that. If you do not want to use it you do not have to use it.
