there is more than one type of melanin. There are two distinct types of melanin: black to brown (eumelanin) and yellow to reddish-brown (pheomelanin). The ratio of eumelanin to pheomelanin determines the color of the hair, skin, and eyes. i do not understand why people think just because you are white you do not have melanin. melanogenesis is the scientific word for tanning. kind of hard to tan without melanin.

I'm aware of that. This is not a book on melanin. This is a brief inspiration for those who don't understand why they are being discriminated against via their skin color. Hatep
