How To Get Your Tracks Featured

So what is the featured tracks thing all about ? We thought it would be good to reward those users who comment on other users tracks to get some exposure themselves in return.

Heres how to make that happen. When you upload a track you have the option to set it as featured. You can only have one track featured at any one time and so when you set a new track to featured we automatically set it switched off on all other tracks. Once every 15 minutes we check who has set their tracks to featured and who has been active in commenting and create the featured tracks list which is shown on the featured tracks page.

The list on the featured tracks page is ordered based on the date of the last comment you made so whoever made the last comment is shown at the top.

The only thing left to do now is go out and leave comments on other peoples tracks.

We have set the featured tracks page to be the page that opens when you hit the main tracks link at the top of the page. You can still browse the full list of tracks at any time though by clicking the "All Tracks" link or by using the search options.
