Hey Danke
Glad you liked this one. I received a nice gift from my bosses for 20 years working for them .. an epiphone masterbilt acoustic. So I had a little jam session yesterday to celebrate.
too good...respect my friend...this is an outstanding effort...mix is not my world, but for personal taste the sax is a bit back...but you have to know that I'm a biased sax fan...:-)
Thank you =)
Yes, the sax level was a bit higher on my first export, but I reduced it. Because... I think a sax it not rly expected here, I didn't want to "hurt". It's hard to find the levels for all instruments without overexpose and also compression at the end makes surprise sometimes. (+/-3dB can makes a huge effect).
I wondered if I would remove the sax for something else, but no.
no tale ... we are opening a new king ... since Staticnomad has disappeared, we are always looking forward to your new opus Aaron ... but now you have done all that much ... who can give you the credentials of a theme in the music, the word is called: artist ... my favorite is around 7.30, Slayer ... :-)
I am humbled by your kind words, my friend. It's always encouraging to hear such positive feedback. It inspires me to not only keep doing it, but to keep striving to do it better than the last one.
As always, I appreciate your feedback and always look forward to hearing from you.
that fat guitar sound is incredible...though on the drums are too much reverb for my taste on my humble opinion...all in all, great demo, hope you'll find some vocalist...
Thanks for that danke, your right it is a contra bass :~)
I have emailed loopman and asked to do so, but I have not heard back; and that has been a week or so back ? I told them that I have over several years of loops and samples to upload, but as i say nothing back as yet ?
very cool track...I'm not a big fan of trap music (and don't understand this genre though...) but your tracks have some special bouquet...it easily could be chill out except of course that harsh kick (perhaps it must be like that)...explain me my friend that the mix must be in this power of volume? my speakers are in a quarter position and they are on the verge of death...:-)
Hey danke! Thank you so much for your kind words I mean it.
I grew up on oldschool hip hop and more melodic/orchestral/emotional hip hop beats were my jam so I'm trying to incorporate different ideas in my trap beats and I'm glad for someone who doesn't like trap you can appreciate and see that! :)
I used to mix and master my tracks in lower volume and the bass way down but the producers around me (bigger names in the trap environment) kept telling me my 808s didnt have enough presence so I've been mixing it differently ever since, I guess it's just a characteristic of trap music itself, I'm sorry for that haha. Still glad you enjoyed it nontheless tho, that means a lot to me my friend!
very cool soundtrack music on the softer side of pop...like that piano work and those harmonies...panning is 50-50 % on the good and (or) bad side...I mean, it's a good idea but I felt too much at the end...on my humble opinion drum must be in the middle...but it's fortunatelly only me...:-)
you should get a female voice and you gotta big hit...
I really appreciate your comment and will give that some thought as well as getting vocal for my song, Thank you Danke for your up building comments. You friend Woodywood
very cool indeed but on my standard it's way too far from rnb...calculate that I'm 51...:-)...trapish drums, very chill organ/synth, but it is true that if you find a brutal vocal tone, my judgment will change...:-)
all in all, great one and waiting for the final result...
I went for the new wave R&B sound, like The Weeknd, Bryson Tiller, and Daniel Ceaser. Thank you though! Its cool to get insight from other generations besides my own, haha. (I'm 16)
thank you very much (also to the others, thank you guys), but to you mostly because you're absolutely one of my favourits and for that reason I often use your loops. Thanks a lot
very cool vibe here, lots of emotions and feelings in this 2 mins...though that snare kinda thing is over volumed on my humble opinion...but just sayin...
Thanks ! It's my first time doing 2 min+ stuff , so I didn't really know how to end it. Plus, it would play on loop since this is made for a video game.
very cool song...agreed with Johny, it's around trapop :-)...maybe one thing: the hihat work is too much in volume (perhaps only for me)...but the whole song is flying high and the piano is supercool...
Thanks! I agree on the hihat stuff, I don't think iI mixed it to blend well with the other stuff so it kind of sticks out. I'll remember to turn the hihat down a little bit in my next beat!
Fav from the first second...this is like a slow Kyuss jam in the rehearsal room with high quality...maybe that guy below could send some Garcia like vocs on this...
excellent track, congrats and hail for metal...hope all is well...Danke
what a groovy cool song you've done here...nearly missed it...was searching between the rock tracks and found this masterpiece...did you found someone on the mics?
And my question is what kind of drum plugin did you use?
Hey Danke ! Sorry for the late answer, ive been away from the site a bit.
I use Addictive Drums 2. More specificly thr Funk expansion. The snare in that set sounds super natural and heavy.
And yeah, i have a versión with vocals ! Give it a play and let me know what you think of it ;)
