Yeah...as you said...really cool and groovy...I like every element here but specially the bass (synth, I think)...very vintage like two and half...the new synth from 1.35 was a clever choose...
Guitars, bass, synth are first class...drum is a bit electrish for this style (for me)...awesome live, wild, dirty music...mix is a bit overgained but I like this raw feeling...
This chill out is not obvious...it's like a journey to the unconscious...very dreamy, atmospherical music...kinda outer space (or brain) feeling I have...several stunning musical solutions...
Thanks Danke (schön). Discovering how I can create with my feeling and without any rules seems to be a way in which I like to go , like in painting or drawing.
Obviously it can be pleasant or not.
Obviously I work to make it as I'm.
Special atmosphere and the attitude you reach for music is so extra (for me)...
That female vocal snippet is ultra good and the speed of the number, too...
Feel the tempo...
Thank you for your kind words Danke.
It was fun to do but should have been a bit longer.
A slow beginning building up but I had to keep chopping it up to get it to the acceptable upload level.
How o earth I've been getting eight minute ones up I know not!
Agreed with Epic...metal means (for me) a brutal guitar sound...well, it's innovative but I could call it industrial better than metal...very good vocs work and what I specially like is the drum...
About the guitar sounds I can explain why its weak I used 2 syth to make that maybe with a real guitar this would sounds way better anyway I think even if its weak for a metal its sounds great for a industrial.
Very much like your chord progression...it's not too far from my taste :-)
Clap is king! (if that's clap in the first period...)
That part from 0.42 is brilliantly grooved...
1.30: electro...
same from 2.37: bit like Jean Michel Jarre...
the end is fine? from 3.21: bit sliding stg?
Very mechanical, after the end of the world feeling...bit like Ministry...question is that you need many times those unisons and dissonants between guitar and synth (you could choose a better tone for it)?
Anyways, it's a cool track and I like it...specially those drums are pretty good...
This is not the final version, this only a representation of what will later is song ... even with minimal resemblance ... well, for the synthesizer, there will be used better sound ...
Very cool music...uplifting, happy, kinda like 'forget everything' type...
Vocs are pro but very cheesy (for me), though I know that it goes with the style...
Fantastic guitar work...floating melodies and your rhythms on guitar are stunning...
Was hard sometimes cause the synths are too loud but it wasn't a problem for you...
Cool track...
Thanks Man...
I was just trying to do something simple, on guitar maybe the synths
were a touch over the mark, like you said not a problem for me...
I like that edge, that border line... That's where all the fun is... :-)
The atmosphere that caught me...than that fabulous sax play...what software did you use for this tune? It's got a bloody live sound...
Ed's wah play is superb as usual, but my 2 cents is that it was a bit much when the 2 instru played together...
Was it a bariton tone?
Anyways, instant fav and huge congrats for both of you...
Thanks for the comments. As far as mixing, Ed did all of the mixing. The sax was performed on keyboard using a combination of audio from my Yamaha keyboard and a built in Cakewalk sax Vst that I modified to create an air sound. The patch from the Yamaha YPG -535 was #75 Growl sax. Thanks PDMuzak
Always great to get your take on things Danke.
Trying to do something a bit different here.
Even a bit like ZZ is one heck of a compliment. I'm more of a fan of their earlier material though - Rio Grande Mud, Tejas, Fandango, Tres Honbres, Deguello era, the pre-Mtv stuff.
Natural played unique track here...truly one of the best in this site...amazing recording with the nature...I simply imagine myself beside you as walikng on the seaside, singing, playing and talking a lot about life...outstanding track!!!
Surely the best from the 3, I've heard from you in the metal line...got some problem about the genre cause for me is a true rock music as the others too...but who cares about how we call it?...
Acoustics are brilliant as the piano and the female voice too (it's a bit back on my humble opinion)...
What I wasn't able to get used to is the place of the snare...it's weird...
Anyways, overall is an awesome, heartfelt track!!!
