Im very pleased on how this came out. I took a different approach production wise with this one. Three distinct sections including a short interlude/intro. I also experimented with MIDI and individual tracks differently.

It is interesting how the music for art tracks turn out. Sometimes the connection with the painting is mostly about emotional content. I think the music might speak of a happy ride in this commuter boat. Thanks for checking this out. All the best. Dan

That's what I was going for. Thank you for the kind review. I must confess there are particular metal tones and frequencies which make me feel powerful and alive. Even if it's only for a few minutes of a track it's still a great dreamland for me. But while creating something like this I still feel the need to combine darkness with a little light, which would explain the energetic upbeat synthesis I used sparingly in the background. It's like a little voice in the distance designed to help keep things in check, if that makes any sense. I'm weird like that. LOL

Thank YOU, Mr. Danke! So glad you like it and also the final minute. I wanted to simulate a crowd chanting, so I just recorded myself about 8 time and changed the pitch and off-set each track slightly.

My uncle heard it for the first time today and he liked it. He was real good friends with Turk Murphy back in the day.

I'm really sorry to hear about your loss, but that's the inevitable part of our lives and we all have to deal with those things sooner or later...but life itself is always a driving force which keep us looking to the future, and I hope brighter one.
