Beautifull Haunting piece - I certainly dig the slightly off-time beat, but for this song I think it should be a bit tighter. Love the vocal harmonies, mmmmmmmmmm - I wish I had a wider range, I have like a 3/4 octave range. hahah, maybe 1 octave
hmmm, perhaps it's just that distorted hihat sound that need to be tighter, not totally sure - but this is beautiful - as for Nova going super nova, maybe you need some electric guitar to bring it up like either slowly until it's big without anyone noticing how it got so big, or like an epiphany/explosion sorta thang.. have fun !
i love reversed sounds and shortbusmusic so it's cool, off to a great start - you should keep this version, but also work on another, have a few versions... just in case... ; ) Neal
totally dig how everything is interlaced without drowning anything else out, got quite alot of cross-genre goin on, well put together with some wandering off the beaten path but close enough so you don't get lost - excellent trip mate !!! Neal
hallo thanks for your review, this track was an experiment, so it´s nice somebody likes it. Maybe it doesn´t look like but it has been done in only few days (usually it takes me few weeks to make one track)
oh, i got some crazy sounds myself, FL rocks man... I truly dig the panning you do bro, dig the slight ripping bassline that drops out to let the sychedelick birds do their thang, then the
oh - i think you should post this song up for a looperman remix babe !
wtcrap - is this Acro from the UK - and like mp3unsigned ?
either way - the vocalist has decent flow, cool lyrics, not bad mate - so wtf, just double the vocals trakc n pan 1 hard left, the other hard right, as long as they're decen timing wise, add some chorus and.or reverb and maybe some parametric eq and blam...
lol not from the UK sir. From the good old NorthWest. Oregon Based. But those are so really good ideas on the mastering end of things. I need to get to mastering that. The recording you heard is incredibly rough, really only recorded so we could throw it up on here
I really like the textures and especially dig the glitchy drum hits, the phrasing is longer than 'regular' stuff so that's a plus cuz it helps carry ya...
aw yeah on the distorted drum beat that kicks in, nice n slippery !
pretty slick track man, I friggin LOVE the drum work and that break is ominously passionate, esp when the choir and piano start taking over and build into the main part again - excellent track - melancholy at it's finest - nv
nice guitar work dude, diggin that flowing bassline wow, got a revolting c_cks or red lorry yellow lorry drum beat but who cares eh - nice trippy guitars
HELL YEAH, that was totally cool BLAM with that first drum/synth hit !
This has a tonne of cool stuff mate, you'd better watch out, I might hafta hit you up for a remix - love those breaks, and SBM kicks butt - some of the drum work is fantabulous
thoroughly enjoyed and I can tell ya had lotsa fun here !
sliiiiick, sounds alot liek santana actualy... your guitar kicks a-ss man, just did a number on myself with actually playing my guitar again too.. holy, nice nice,
Holly's vocals are lovely, crazy on the guitar !!!
hahaha at mstokes. i've plugged my ipod into my amp at a motel ; )
Thanks for the review man! This is all loops, at a couple points i had to cut them up to fit the track how i wanted them too.. for example, the flute trill i just cut out from a flute solo loop haha. I got most of the loops from sony sample packs and a few from prime loops :)
oooh, yeah, that guitar.. i thought the sub basss was cool til that guitar was alludingly pervasive. kinda funny, you got bugs having wars I got em all jamming in the woods hahah sooo much fun yaaaaay.. r, sorry, i get all giddy like a little boy.
this totally has chapters / evolution to the storyline
oh yeah, Kudos on you listing of loops used man - tres cool !
lol I guess we must have totally different kind of bugs then!
Thanks for yr listen, the loops were awesome so it was a pleasure to play with it and this is only but justice to list them all, so pas de problème!
niiiice, we're actually havin a small house party tonigh - jon's 21st ! ! ! I'll be sure to stick this on mate - love the cross-genre-culture-thang.. pretty soon we'll all be together again ; )
Ahh to reunite and harmonize the millions of souls of thousands of generations from hundreds of races. Happy belated b-day to jon hope the track got him groovin!
drums on drums rocks man, i do that alot & I'll slow some down or speed em up - I use audiomulch alot to do live looping/mixing
this song's totally tripped out mate - I quite dig it, even the cheesy parts hah, that disco beat just kicked in before the flangy voice and 80's synth, love the psychedelicacy woven throughout !
Any loops from here or all your own or ? kinda interested in some of the sounds ; )
Thanks man I appreciate it. There wasn't any live instrumentation on this track tho. Structure and compostition is very important I feel which is why I invest the time get a nice dynamic going. Thanks for listening. Stay tuned fer more.
Peace.
hmmm, wonder what'd be scarier - monsters from outer space, or the monsters from inner space ?
pretty cool soundscaping again bro, rough recording, but it may just be the droney sound, i see certain parts'd be hard to vocalize to, but you did ask for skillz wha - love that melody line
"somewhat hard to write to unless they let the inner monster out"
that's the idea
and i cant redo, it's from before the fire, all i have is this copy, everything else associated with this track and lots of others was destroyed
hahah, yeah man, love the sounds goin on in here.. was gonna say take that drum loop out some more. haunting !
hahah.. I like that ! wicked ending

- actually both, keep some like they are, then that 1st time you take em out, when you bring em in, make em fatter, but yeah, drop em totally out more here n there so we can trip on the atmosfear of the soundscape ; )
aw yeah, i saw the video first - wow ! i must do the same... i've got poetry, some turned into songs, some shall be spoken word - hey, who turned out the ights.. hahaha, bad god/devil joke, sorry.
