on JUST LIKE HONEY - RABBER VERSION by rabbersound
A very absorbing sound - takes you on a fantasy ride but you are not sure where you are going when you are on it. Instrumentation and beats are sublime. Vocal cinches the deal with the sweetness to offset the bass.

Love that gentle lilting opening and what a beautiful sample cocooned by your clever instrumentation - love the distortion effect - slightly Cocteau Twins in places

Thank you Kay. The current world and social media in general, seem to act like a bunch of adolescent children. Everyone nowdays is hyper emotional and quick to cancel anything they don't agree with. Sorry to go on some long rant, but the lyrics to most of my tracks are a way to vent what I know most people are seeing in the culture nowadays. There is still plenty of good out there, you just have to dig a little to get to it.

A lot of the rappers like minimalism so I make minimal beats. They can always add their spices to it.
Once the rapper jumps on it then it becomes fire just like you are Kayos2. Thanks for the reply and I hope you had a nice Christmas and happy new year.

on Echo of Laughter by Captainsour69
Weird and wonderful - in some ways, Beatlesque, in others, a bit Cocteau twins - I say the latter cautiously, as last time I mentioned them on someone's feedback, the LM member expressed extreme disdain! Personally, I like the Cocteau twins....
Captainsour69
Captainsour69 replied 29th Dec 2025 - 3 months ago
I also like the Cocteau twins. I'm not a big fan of the beatles I much prefer the solo stuff like Lennon and Wings but I can see the comparison. Thank you for your wonderful comments it made my day

Thank you very much for your kind review. Youre absolutely right. That said, I have to admit I never really had Elvis in mind. I was thinking much more of the Delta sounds from the 1930s. Well .. everything has its roots ;-)
