And about Pnnywze..that boy
He came here later as a newcomer.
Much younger than us but with the perseverance to want to learn and always very respectful towards us. In that way, he quickly became a sweet, enthusiastic member of our LM family.
You are all truly wonderful. It's a pleasure to talk to you; you're all polite and respectful, which I believe is fundamental in any society: respect for others.
You were wondering what my reason was for leaving LM.
Suddenly, a lot of new members joined who weren't really serious.
They often made rude comments or put others down. A few years ago, I had a bully on LM who said terrible things. He went so far as to bully me on YouTube and SoundCloud as well. He even created a YouTube channel under my son's name. Fortunately, YouTube and LM took it seriously and banned him. Manuela also suffered a lot from bullies, and Paul has been through quite a bit too, if I'm not mistaken. Unfortunately, LM never became what it was again, like from 2020 to about 2024.
I had a migraine just yesterday and I know what a hell that is.
Fortunately, I only have it a few times a year.
I can't bear to think about what you're going through.
Do you get good medication for it?
And what animals do you take care of? Are they pets, or do you also have animals like on a farm? In any case, I'm glad you've joined. Just take your time when it comes to making music.
The fact that you're here to listen and write messages is already nice.
Now I understand. I imagined you were referring to something that had happened here, but I didn't think it would be to this extent (you've left me speechless). It must be awful to feel harassed, especially when you don't know who it is. And isn't that something you can report? Even more so with your child involved?
I also suspected something had happened to Manuela, seeing her initial comments about being absent for a while.
It's a real shame that a place like this exists, with a good atmosphere, and then someone comes along and disrupts the harmony.
I'm sorry you also suffer from migraines; they're terrible. Let me tell you a little about my case: When I was 18, I had a very serious car accident (I was hospitalized for 3 months). That frontal fracture caused me to start having migraines over the years (at first, just a few, about one a month). Over time, they became more frequent. By 40, it was unbearablemore than one migraine a week. At 42, I was hospitalized to monitor the frequency and intensity of the pain. They forced me to stop working because it was happening three days a week. All of this led to my separation from my wife and a deep depression due to financial hardship. But thank God, I managed to pull through. I found ways to earn a living with IT, electronics, and other things. And I began dedicating my life to animals. Every now and then, a cat would appear on my property and give birth to kittens. I would bring the ones that were sick, weak, or had some kind of defect into my house to protect them. Before I knew it, I had more than 20. I had to spay all the cats in the neighborhood because the situation was getting out of control. In the last 15 years, I only have the last few animals left in my house; currently, there are nine. They are very old and don't have much time left. But many have passed through my hands during this time.
It has been difficult to juggle caring for the animals with my migraines, even more so since they considered me a lost cause because there was no treatment that worked to prevent them. They decided to treat me in the pain unit, but instead of preventing the migraines, they gave me strong medication so I wouldn't suffer so much. They started treating me with Actiq 200 (Fentanyl). Today, I've decided to stop all that medication (it was killing me) and I only take anti-inflammatories and cannabis honey.
Right now, I have good weeks when I only get the migraines once or twice a week. And other weeks, three or four times a week. And you know... in the dark in a room, unable to hear anything. And I have to sleep during the day and at night.
Sorry for rambling on, but I start writing and I can't stop, that's what happens when you live alone, hahaha.
I read your discussion with Paul and I have something to say too.
I'm not such an extensive writer and have to translate most of it. But now I'll make myself heard too lol.
When I joined LM, I had purchased FL Studio but had never done anything with music before.
I had to learn everything from the ground up and figure out how the DAW worked. And every time I figured something out, I forgot where to find it in the DAW. I didn't want to use loops, so I really had to learn how to make a beat.
Thanks to the help and support of the LM family, I kept going.
Just a comment that I had a knack for it made me continue. If I was working on a beat and couldn't figure it out, I would throw it online for advice and then continue with it. In the beginning, I was terrible. My kicks were often off-beat and my music jumped from one thing to another lol.
But I kept persevering, and so did the LM family with me, until I could make a worthy beat, even though I never really became as good as others here.
And the same thing started with my singing.
First, a few words with a lot of embarrassment.
And thanks to the compliments and encouragement from the FL family, that expanded more and more until I got more guts to sing.
I have also built a personal bond with some people here on LM.
Manuela is my LM daughter and Paul is almost me, only a bit tougher.
Robin, Cyberflares was one of the first people I got to know. We have seen each other grow, even though Manuela is already an experienced singer.
Sometimes I wanted to leave LM because a lot has changed these years. But whoever thinks they are leaving eventually comes back.
There are many temporary people or people who just do their thing here. But you also have people who quickly become a member of the group, just like you. I hope you will get just as much out of it as I did. After 6 years on LM, I still don't know the musical terms they often use here, so you will never hear me complain about that. Sometimes I don't know how to describe what I mean in English, and the translator apparently doesn't always understand me either. My words are often simple and not too long, but I do mean them.
I'm like you, I have to use Google Translate for everything. I translate from Spanish to English and then translate the result back to Spanish to see if the translation says what I want, haha.
I love that we share more about our lives; I think it helps us understand each other's music better. For example, with your comments, I understood the reason behind those dramatic lyrics, I understood the story behind each song. And that's made me enjoy listening to you more and more, because I feel the emotion you convey, the story you tell. And even though what's behind your lyrics saddens me, I enjoy listening to them because you connect with me so much.
I have the same problem with musical terminology, so I can only say if I like something a lot, a whole lot, but little else. I get lost in so many technical terms; at most, I can say if something sounds more or less defined, clear, and little more.
I seem to recall you mentioning to me before that you started creating your rhythms around 2020, but that it was still difficult, but that with time and passion you'll succeed.
As I told Paul, I'd never been in a chat room or anything like that before, but I'm glad I joined. From the beginning, I've felt welcome; you've all been incredibly kind to me, and it makes me angry that I can't dedicate as much time to this as I'd like.
When you say that many things have changed during this time and that sometimes you've wanted to leave, I'm not sure if you're referring to changes here or in your life.
For example, in the last few days I've noticed a bit of tension in some of the comments, which I'd never seen before (I haven't been here long). The last one was on a Liner Fade song, which I didn't understand because, along with Manuela, they're my biggest influences in LM. I think both groups are professionals worthy of a major record label, but there was a small disagreement, and since I also have to translate everything before posting... by the time I went to write it, the song had already been deleted, haha.
I hope to enjoy this community for a long time, but unfortunately, my migraines are getting worse every day, and my work with the animals is getting more demanding. Despite everything, I'll keep trying to find time to at least listen to the work you all post, even if I can't upload anything myself.
Thanks for telling me more about yourself.
Greetings from your admirer, Juan Carlos.
Not at all, many of the songs I've heard you sing, I've imagined them with a rhythm like mine, and I think your voice would give my music a special touch. The thing is, I'm the one who still needs to learn how to combine music with a voice. When I do it with the acapella of Odarka or Mansasworld, I try my best, but since I've never spoken to them and I've seen many versions of that same acapella by other people, the final result doesn't cause me any anxiety. But with you guys it's different; it's like I already know you, and the responsibility of living up to your standards, for now, prevents me from using your voices.
I'm glad you liked it. The vocals are an acapella by Mansasworld that inspired me to do this test.
Someday, when I'm better at it and feeling creative enough, maybe I'll work up the courage to ask you to add the vocals.
Nice work you guys
I get the impression that Aaron throws in that dark trap , while Robin brings a bit more composure with his style.
I think they complement each other well.
Thanx for your sweet words Paul.
You are right.
When i started on LM you weren't around back then.
I ended up with 2 guys, including Cyberflare, with whom I had a lot of fun at the time.
Robin made up a little story for every beat i made , and that's how I became Rita the White Widow. Then you joined, and later a few others, and we became a close group.
Sometimes someone from our group is absent for a while, but they always come back.
What I also like is that 6 years ago there were many older members with a lot of experience who ignored us beginners. Maybe because they thought we would only be on LM temporarily or wouldn't really stick with it seriously.
But we did, and they saw us grow, and now some of them do respond to our tracks.
i agree with every word you write, Robin is a great guy, although we come from different countries we both come from strong industrial backgrounds like steel-making and ship-building parts of the country but we are just over an hrs drive apart in theory but the working man mentality is ground into you from birth. even if I were a multi millionaire i would still be working class grounded, i'd have what i needed and nothing more and wouldn't spend for spending sake either, well ok maybe a gold ingot with dimestop stamped into it lol, above my fireplace under a life-size oil commissioned portrait, he's such a big head bugger that dimestop one loool,
Hi Paul
Luckily you're back.
As the others already said, you are also a part of LM. And the two of us started here together and grew... with and without pain.
I am one year older than you and together we feel 40 in our heads, but together we also feel 85 now.
We have quite a lot in common lol.
Fortunately, we can express ourselves in our music, just like you have done again in this amazing track and lyrics.
I am proud of you.
Love from your friend Rita
Rita, you commented on my very first piece, along with Cru Cyber Zoot and i think Mark too, Ian puesdo was first to ever leave a comment, and you have commented on every track since, i commented on your work and called you boom boom Rita, I commented on Bones and possibly Cru or Cyber as my first comments , i'd been watching for 8 month and i was ##### myself,
5+ years Mrs, i think your closer to 6, that's all and now look at us, just like the Fran's also who are older, talent is ageless just because we are older, doesn't mean we are any less ambitious as the young 'uns and still want to achieve things and I truly believe both me and you are proud of what we have achieved within our community and the friendships and bonds that formed simply because of our love for music, the 3 most important members of our community to me are you Manuela and Kayos in no particular order either your the only female live performers we have and you all keep the testosterone levels balanced and your all well loved and missed when your missing, you will always be one of my closest because we do have more in common than i think each of us Knew but learn't as our friendship grew, thanks for your constant support, it means lots to me
Geweldige ritme en hoe jij stemmetjes kan bewerken.
Ik denk dat deze track heel veel succes zal hebben op een strand party met dit weer. Ik heb hem helemaal geluisterd hoor. Toppie.
Hi you all.
I forgot that i send you this lol.
but a nice result, and certainly with the male voice added.
Personally, I would throw an echo into my word 'instinct,' but that is my personal taste.
Furthermore, I think this beat is also very good.
Sometimes its hard to do something on trap beats but im happy that you guys always find a way how to place my voice.
Hey Favorite Lady! I think for the next album, we're going to go even more metal, so less trappy. On your vocals for this one, there was an effect on them when we got them that made the echos sound strange. We ran them through Neutron Plug-in which fixed some of it, but we couldn't fix it completely. Aaron did get the track to sound pretty good though. Thank u so much for your contributions Rita
Goodmorning Robin.
Nice suprise after the intro.
As the others i like also the bass ofcourse.
Nice soft kick work and i like the woman vox in it.
Together with the music definitely a chill track.
Hi Fanisatt.
Its creative in a positive way for sure. Her voice is amazing, sometimes opera.
The light beat is perfect with it i think.
Ok im not that good to express myself in English.
I mean ....not a heavy beat with this song is perfect
Well done !!!
I am glad you like it Rita !! Thank you very much for your so kind comment !! Yes I definitely had to make a light sound for the drums track...and I find a way searching some old plugins ! (I discovered this a bit late, though, and I should have modified the sound in other such tracks as well). Cheerssssssssssssssssssss !!
Rita, Rita, Rita! Thank you once again. Our proposal still stands. We are starting Industrial Stories, it is very much in the style of your voice.
Listening to you here sometimes, Nadine says, and she is absolutely right, that vocally, you sound like Amanda Lear!
With appreciation,
Chris
